Cheltenham fans tried to kick the doors in at the Nailsworth Social Club before the game, according to a lady sat near me.

We were lucky to get a point, but it could have been all three with a shot deep in injury time, would have felt brilliant but a bit like daylight robbery.

...yeah, my first thought when they did that was moronic scum...but I'm not the sort of person who tars everyone with the same brush...some of their fans are totally decent people who are a credit to the human race.

Good local derby fellas. Should be good.
Would you mind endulging me on the recent history of FGR, Cheltenham and Gloucester in terms of who has been playing at a higher level.
Remember going to Cheltnum in early mid 90s for an FA cup game which we lost - don’t think you lot were in football league back then.
We had some tidy games v Glos when we ground shared too.
And we’ve been playing FGR /Stroud for yonks.

Are you thinking of Conference game, Boxing Day 1988? We had loads there and were on the away terrace on the side which is now a new stand. Sure we've never played them in FA Cup. Early/mid 90s games were in Glos Sen Cup or Southern League Cup.

Yeah agree those chants weren't great. Some absolute bellends turned up looking for trouble from Cheltenham yesterday though, thought our fans behaved pretty well overall. Their fans on twitter trying to claim some of ours charged them on Spring Hill and then attacked a police officer and broke his leg are talking absolute shite.
