Not just us with goalkeeping problems then.

Defending was worse than the keeping, where was the midfield?

So we've gone slightly more balanced today and back to the tried and trusted formation, but Sluga and Brown keep their places; I would've picked Shinnie (if not injured) and Shea.

GK Simon Sluga
RB James Bree
LB Dan Potts
CB Matty Pearson
CB Sonny Bradley
DM Jacob Butterfield
CM Ryan Tunnicliffe
CM Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu
AM Izzy Brown
CF James Collins
CF Harry Cornick

Subs: Callum McManaman, Luke Berry, Elliott Lee, Luke Bolton, Kazenga LuaLua, Lloyd Jones, James Shea.

Referee is Gavin Ward, so not expecting a game without incident.

Not far off the team that I’d posited earlier in the week. Would have thought Shinnie has a knock to not even be on the bench. Assuming he plays as the 10 be interesting to see Brown play his actual position.

Winning without being spectacular is a handy trait, they've got that knack this season.

James Collins - 50th for Luton Town.

Luton had done fuck all up to that point until Brown showed the first bit of quality all game to put a beautiful cross in for his 5th of the season.

Lewis Travis - great strike from 18 yards.

Very much all to play for in the second half. Neither side really dominating or looking overly assured on the front foot.

Another beautiful cross from Izzy Brown to setup a Matty Pearson header

Wow no VAR at Ewood Park but Bradley Dack clearly offside turning in a header about 2 yards from goal. Lino didn’t flag but Ward goes and talks to him and overturned.

We won! What a fantastic result that is. Blackburn we’re diabolical though... with their resources; being able to bring on Holtby and Graham chasing the game, they let us off massively because we were absolutely nothing special either.

Referees robbed us of three points at deepdale with that late disallowed goal decision.

I’ll take that, two winnable games coming up now.

Must be annoying JJ, 2 up, 3-2 up then the goal being wiped off.

We bullied Boro today with two old fashioned strikers, 3 out of the 4 goals were from crosses, I can't read too much into it however Monk picked a team and played to its strengths, tactically spot on.

Nah, definite push on Bauer.

Your 1st goal looked a foul on Rudd too.

Was impressed by you though. Very good side. Just kept coming at us and never let your heads drop after losing the 2 goal lead.

We weren't at our best today, but we never gave up either.

Good game between 2 good sides who'll both be right up there this season.

Think North End will drop away simply due to a lack of strength in depth, particularly up front but you're looking decent at the minute.

I’ve seen the replay barely any contact mate, watch it back later.

I ain’t too annoyed really, a point more than we usually get against you and it sounds as if we played pretty well. Looking forward to having Nagy and Kalas back though, too many errors in central positions costing us atm.

A bit mate, oh well fuck it.

And yeah you’ve gone above us I think, did you go today? I like Monk as I said to you at the time of appointing him, good manager.

More than happy with our depth this year, we don't play with an out & out striker.

Very weird game, Bristol City got their tactics right and it was tough. Not sure if their second disallowed goal was a foul or not but it looked a clear foul on Rudd for their second so fuck it.

Referee was laughable. 6 goals, 2 penalties, 2 disallowed goals, 4 set pieces. I give you the Championship...

Happy with a point.

Have you seen the second goal back? It couldn’t possibly be a foul as our player doesn’t get close enough, it’s weird as fuck he just throws himself to the floor.

Not quite the easy rout you predicted, Brownhill played well also I gather.

You know more than me pal, happy to be proved wrong.

But you're depth of keepers is still shit

Yep but think we can carry him.

Think we're top scorers in the division, could be wrong?

Looks like your player pushes DJ into Rudd.

His set pieces were good, thought he was quiet apart from that.
