huge game this, Huddersfield were superb on Thursday, we are defensively solid when jansson and bartley pair up

I don't think Huddersfield will find it as easy as Brighton but I expect a very difficult game

a draw would be superb for us, a win would be phenominal after todays results (dare I say a win would practically cement us into the play-offs?)

1-1

What a game. I wouldn't be too disappointed with a draw right now either tbh. Thursday's win and today's results take a lot of pressure off us... but what an opportunity. A win would see us 9 points clear of 7th and closing in on Brighton.

Totally different game to Thursday, two completely different teams. Looking at it now you'd say Leeds' style would suit a derby game better.
We're both very fit teams but this is the biggest test of that following midweek games. Suspect we'll have 65+% possession again.

I remember hearing all about this "1-0 thrashing" that Leeds gave to Derby. I then watched the highilights, and saw a few chances from set pieces and not much else. Not particularly awe inspiring, but definitely a threat for us. We were terrible at defending set pieces until November. Not conceded from one since then, but don't think we've suddenly become perfect at them.

Schindler and Brown had knocks after Thursday, could really do with both of them in the 18, but Wagner is a rotater so we can never be sure of our side.

good game this, sad to see Jon Stead in the studio though - we see enough of the useless tinman on a Saturday, don't need him on Sundays as well.

Didn't deserve anything from that. Too poor with the ball second half.

Terribly cuntish from Wagner though. Looking forward to Monk twatting him after our winner at Wembley.

Perfect chance with the two home games coming up though. With our form as it is, 6 points from those and I think we'd have to have a big slump not to be top 6.

they are a good team though no mistake

just felt we didn't do enough on the break, and 1 deflection has cost us a massive point (but that's the thing it's only 1 point)

I thought we'd grow into it and started the second half alright but after that we lost the ball as soon as we'd won it. Needed to play it well after getting it and bringing Barrow/Pedraza into the game. The latter showed some promise at least - got pace and is direct.

Pedraza should start for doukara , the amount of times he slows play down and loses the ball is astonishing

What was 'cuntish' about Wagner celebrating with his players?

The flare-up was instigated by Monk’s petulance, end of.

you don't understand how "technical boxes" work do you?

now imagine what would have happened if we would have scored and done the same?

Leeds would be lapping it up if Monk and the players had shown the same level of passion and team unity. Wagner shouldn't have ran out on the pitch but it's understandable that he did. He had 'class, respect and humility' to admit as much in his post-match interview. Monk came across as a bitter, self-righteous bellend in his.

Mate, our team has more spirit and togetherness than any other incarnation I've ever seen at LUFC tbh so we don't need to worry about that.

I personally think it's a bit embarrassing to run fifty yards to celebrate a goal that doesn't mean a huge amount in the grand scheme of things, but hey, each to their own. Monk would never do that and I agree with him that it lacks a bit of humility tbh. He wasn't blameless in it of course but I think he was within his rights to give a bit back to someone giving it the big 'un like that. Most of us would have done the same.

Ultimately it's no big deal but I'm really not bothered about seeing my manager lose the plot during a league game in February.

On we go.

Terribly cuntish of him to celebrate with his team, which he's done before.
As seen in the video above, Monk comes out of his area to walk into him, and then totally backs off once it kicks off, the fucking melt. He'd definitely be an internet troll if he wasn't a football manager.

We'll keep Wagner the way he is thanks, you can keep Monk and his polite applause when you score, his cute hashtags, and his shite tactics of going intense pressing early on, resulting in you being shattered by the final third of the game. Knew this would happen after the first 10 minutes.

you don't understand how "technical boxes" work do you?

No I think he gets it. Here's a bit of help for you though

Spot on that, everyone deep down knows that if their own manager had done what Wagner did, they'd be absolutely loving it. Pure jealousy from the Leeds fans abusing him, saying he was embarrassing. It was hilarious seeing Monk so rattled.

Huddersfield are brilliant to watch, I remember the 88th minute when Leeds had the ball in their own half, Huddersfield players were pressing them like it was the 8th minute. They must be the fittest team in the league. Aaron Mooy shouldn't be playing at this level either.

Tbh you probably won't have Wagner next year anyway.

I'll take the shite tactics that have us picking up outstanding results tbh. I don't think we got tired actually, we just were very poor on the ball and when you gift the ball back so often, you're gonna get punished eventually.

Nah just my opinion. Don't need to bet on everything (maybe if I get some inside info sometime though ;)). I just reckon if you stay down, he might get lured away. May well have done this season had you not been a few months off a possible promotion.

Absolute buzzing with 6 points from Brighton and Leeds, we're back to our form at the beginning of the season and we look a class above.

Thought Leeds started well today but the injury to Palmer meaning Brown coming on changed the game. They couldn't handle him. The lads a class act.

Second half I expected Leeds to come out at us but I was wrong. They couldn't get out their own half bar a couple of corners and a counter attack they should of done better for.

Monks made himself look a right fool slating Wagner for celebrating with his team by going out and walking into him to kick something off. He hasn't taken either defeats against us well at all and it's shown in the post match conferences.

Can see why Leeds are up there, can play some decent stuff and are a very tall team.

As for the Turkey flag, he was immediately reported by Town fans then removed and arrested. Will no doubt get a lifetime ban.

Knew that injury to Palmer was going to end up being bad news for us. Bridcutt and Vieira had control until then.
