My outside bet is Gateshead - finished the season really well and in Wearne I think they have one of the best players in the league.

Good shout. They were really good in the second half of the season.

Are Bromley well backed? If they are it looks like a good season to Go For It. Would be nice to have a 30 min trip instead of the umpteen overnight horse and carriage rides to the bleak snowy north
The air’s good for clearing all that shite you get down south and obviously the yellow snow

A bit like London borough of Bromley then as not in Kent.
It became a London Borough in 1965, when the football club was founded it was very much in Kent so it's a different situation to Charlton. You ask people from Bromley if they're London or Kent and you'll get a 50/50 split generally speaking these days which is mostly age related. The older generation see themselves as being from Kent, the yoof think theyre Londoners.

Got some money clubs a few levels down as well, Chatham the main ones but Ramsgate and Faversham pay National League wages despite being at Step 4/5.

As said there's a whole host of Kent non league sides who've flirted with getting into the Football League but only Maidstone managed it - until it financially crippled them. Bromley have been competitive in the NL for a number of years now and it wouldn't be a major shock to see Ebbsfleet have a proper tilt at it in the next couple of seasons. Both have been in the play offs in recent times. Dover, Margate and Tonbridge have all shown promise at various times as well but not quite to the same level as the others.

That we've been the only Kentish league side for so long is quite remarkable all things told.
All sound like a right bunch of Kents if you ask me.

The “we need three up, three down NOW” crowd will be quiet this season when it’s Bromley and fucking Boreham Wood running away with the league.

Always the case when you've got a couple of 'MASSIVE' clubs fighting it out at the top of the NL and one is worried they might not get promoted thanks to the play-offs. Can't remember hearing it the year Harrogate and Barrow got promoted, that's for sure.

Wearne looked good in flashes for us and I hope he does well but I think one of the best players in the league is a bit of a premature statement when you've got the likes of Sbarra, Dobra, Dallas, Colclough, Umerah (if he doesn't go anywhere), Kabamba coming off the back of a big season, Cheek, Browne, etc and that's just off the top of my head before we're even getting into defenders and CMs.

I think we go to the bottom of the table with this frankly terrible 'effort'

I'll be honest. from the headline I was expecting something a bit more like this.

Haha. I think I'd rather wear that t shirt to be fair. That said I'm sure the kids will love it and it's what we put into the kits that's the most important thing.

It does look a bit like they've just printed the sponsor log on a red fruit of the loom shirt, from a distance at least.

I quite like the concept of the roundabout. Might look better in person.

Would’ve made more sense doing ‘hoops’ last season. 10 years since we wiped the floor with a few Prem clubs, init.

Whatever it is, it’ll be lovely - anything Claret and Amber generally is.

Imagine a Black and White striped home kit, though. Make me want to throw up in my mouth just at the thought of it.

Predictable meltdown from Notts fans as the teaser of the home shirt shows that sponsor is red. Only on the back at the moment but it's the same sponsor on the front so assume that'll be red too. Full kit will be revealed next Friday

Our home and away will be released at 6pm today. Given we’ve always had all 3 shirts with the same pattern on it’s a bit strange we aren’t also releasing the 3rd shirt, unless this is actually true…

There are rumours floating around that we’ve got a blue third shirt… I can’t see that causing any trouble whatsoever

I like that. Would've made a decent Wrexham shirt, apart from we haven't got a Magic Roundabout. Maybe we can have one with the Macca Mile on it next season.

What's Mipermit though? Is it like some kind of glove for cleaning the kitchen by JML, like what you used to see advertised in Woolworths under a CRT telly showing you all the amazing things that it did? Or something else?

No sign of two of ours yet. The home one will be one of 4 pretty uninspiring fan designs, the away one, design unknown, is of a colour choiced from several by the supporters club members. The only one we do know is the third kit as it is last seasons teal away strip. The home one is usually launched at the club`s open day which I think is July 16th with the away one coming into sight either at one of the home friendlies after that date, as was the case last season, or at the first away game we actually wear it which is what happened the season before. What we do know is that it is made by the same crap Indonesian manufacturer we have had for the last 2 years, Mills.

Mipermit is a car parking payment app.

On trend with the magic roundabout theme I suppose.
