I see Bristol Rovers are only letting Salford sit in the seats and the away terrace is being used for home fans.

They have got a 100 booked in our away stand and if we gave them the away side they would have sold another 10 tickets. So we've given that side to our fans and sold all 800 tickets yesterday. No brainer.

I'm going in the home end, so that will boost the number of their fans by about a third.

I can see a similar problem for our final game against FGR if promotion is at stake, you’ll have a few hundred away fans in a 1900 seater stand but SAG/Police will never let us back in the north stand.

It would be a bit shallow to follow a side simply because they have high profile backers.

I'm not actually knocking the fans. I just think the high profile owners must be embarrassed as they struggle to attract new fans and interest from the city of Salford

Good point. Probably more embarrassing that despite cut price home tickets they can't get a couple of thousand in every week
