Firthy as Alfie is obviously just being really awkward for some reason when he knows exactly what you mean I’ll work out the averages later and post them instead.
Northstandexile posted the ones from before this weekend about four or five pages back, just incase you missed it.

Aha that should make it a lot easier cheers bud.

Not sure what Alfie’s problem is with posting them to be honest. :dk:

Pretty sure he said that he's taking that data that he posts off the Sky website, so doesn't have the actual away averages that Northstandexile posts.

So Grimsby are averaging 12000 away fans at every game are we?
I didn’t realise our support was quite so good as we had 1700 at Bradford yesterday, and around 600 at Walsall, so that means we must’ve had around 34000 fans travel to Notts County which is some going.

Good following that Fish.

Yeah Alfie is just taking screenshots from some other webpage. Northy is actually taking the away stats and posting the actual away averages. How Alfie thinks the away average he is posting is a meaningful stat I'll never know. If you've played at Bradford this season you'll be near the top.

I’m saying nothing. Request an ‘average update’ on an away support thread and I’m obsessed.

Why doesn't Firthy produce the average update seeing that you are so keen to know, and clearly a big fan of all things attendances?

Seems an obvious solution to me.

Because I don’t care enough to bother - seems fairly evident to me.

Word going around yesterday that apparently according to our main coppers we will be getting 4k at Notts

I can’t see how.

Unless they give us the big stand behind the goal which always looks about a quarter full?

The stand we usually get holds that many, just the concourse was built for half that.

I do remember being behind the goal years ago.

The moving of home fans back into the Kop and away fans into the Jimmy Sirrel stand (length of the pitch) was a long time ago now. God knows what year

Must admit wasn't sure at the time, but looking back it was a great move.

Yeah same I went there in the mid 90’s last game of season and we were behind the goal.
Got to witness a proper goalkeeping calamity that day from Notts keeper too.

Which is why i don’t see how we’d been given 4,000. the stand were normally in doesn’t have that capacity.

That stand was equally brilliant for us, never saw us lose in there, especially when christie scored in the 100th minute and he was so offside he was behind the goal at the time

Enjoy. Obviously it’s the second goal but vid is only 30 seconds anyway.

I still remember both of those goals and can remember the Notts keeper at the time, ex Grimsby to rub salt in the wound. After a golden period it was a horrendous season for us Pies.

As for the Christie goal it was ridiculously offside, to comically levels, not that the away fans cared that day. I was nowhere near in line but it was obvious to all.

What year was that? Must be 20 years ago now.

Last time we played em we had 4200 or so. Unless they’ve actually got restrictions in place now as to what they can put in there by SAG or whoever then I can see them giving it us. The police will push for it, especially now with it being on the tele. Loads will just go down for a day on the piss and watch it on the tele if they don’t get tickets because we’ve been given 2800 or whatever it is.

Guess we’ll find out in a couple of weeks, we usually put away tickets on sale 3 weeks before the game.

It's never been a quarter full when we've played Mansfield or even close. Of course Adam knows this already the little scamp or he's getting mixed up with the West Stand at Mansfield from years gone by :pond:

You've definitely brought over 4000 and all housed in that stand in the past but I don't believe it still can accommodate due to H&S / SAG due to the undersized concourse. They've really tightened up as I'm sure has been the case at most grounds.

Understandably it's rarely an issue due to the relative mahoosiveness of our stadium compared to our standard opposition.
