We only had 200 tickets left for FGR on Saturday as of 5 today. Surely now its a dead rubber for them we may have some more, even some seats?

Macc were decent in number and in voice, especially when they realised we were throwing the game in the 2nd half.

The 100 returned tickets from Saturdays Tranmere postponement have been re-sold. So we’ve sold out Tranmere twice.

Johnny King stand is about as benign as it comes if you want to watch the game incognito.
I’d drive but then I’d want a drink really in the pub before and after, and not sure how easy it would be getting back to Manchester after the match via train?

Easily done... straight to Rock Ferry after the game, get to Lime Street (train every 15 minutes, 14 minute journey), find a pub and have a pint, and catch the 23:31 to Manchester Piccadilly. Gets you in at 00:29.

Tempting, certainly tempting... wouldn’t usually travel alone but given the occasion I might drag myself along. I’ve never sat in the opposition end before, don’t know how sensible it would be given the importance of the game for both sides...

The JK is full of pensioners, loud whinging is the feistiest it gets! Probably best to keep away from the Cowshed end just in case there is any posturing. The even more benign option is the main stand which is families mostly, but that would need a ticket from the club shop (no pay on the gate I don't think). The only areas I'd avoid if I was a sensible Bury fan would be the Kop and the Town End Paddock.

Well I’ve booked the train tickets, just in case, £14 return off-peak so can take my time travelling back if promotion happens.

I’ll see tomorrow about going in the home ends, if I swerve it I’ve only lost £14.

Honestly, you won't have a problem in the areas I've mentioned. Have a safe trip if you decide to come, and one last tip... the best beer pre-match is in the fan park tent outside the main stand. Various decent ales, draft and bottled.

Steady on there, the JK is my favourite stand.

All seating and hospitality sold out, ticket sales approaching 4000 apparently. Be a near sellout at this rate.
