Think you need to have a look at your own teams antics before calling out another, the way your guy went down like a sack of shit when Sam Jones touched him to purposely get him sent off was awful cheating play acting, not really surprising though, arse hole players, arse hole fans. :fing:
Are you a stalker? You seem to have an unhealthy obsession with Stevenage. Perhaps you need professional help?

You really are a bit sad aren't you

That's not a pen and definitely not a red in the Lincoln game... and it looked like Rhead was offside for the second in the highlights! Awful awful ref.
Rhead isn't even in the highlights when the cross comes in, so how can you say that?

He was on. Lovely first touch with his thigh and finish.

Well, as far as I’m concerned, there is 1 half decent side in this fucking league - Luton. The rest of us are pretty shite to average.

Whoever goes up with Luton will struggle to stay up, for sure. Most games are a lottery - turning on who makes the fewest cock ups after launching the ball for the umpteenth time.

I hate trying to pick through rumours, speculation, a chairman’s resignation and a missing CEO to try to figure out who are the good guys and who are the bad guys. It’s like a shit whodunnit where no one knows the answer and we’ll never find out.

We’re bloody good at shooting ourselves in the foot.

Think this is pretty harsh on a team who've only lost three games all season, are still unbeaten at home and more than matched the 'only half decent side in the league' on their own patch a week ago, to be honest.

I don’t get this ‘one game’ comparison. We beat Luton 3-0 at Kenilworth Rd - albeit they had a man sent off - yet, now, we are fucking terrible.

I’m looking to the future and I stand by my thought that whoever goes up with Luton will, more than likely, come straight back down. The football standard is dreadful and the hopeful hack into space will get you nowhere in L1.

Everyone knows County will fall away, don't know why that notts fan is getting upset about not being recognised as a top team. Just enjoy the moment while you're up there.

We at last beat a team in the lower half. This season is doing my head in with Cov's inconsistency .
Robins now he's lost our two most creative players for the season, Jodi Jones and Andreu, has said he's lined up at least two signings for January. One must be a winger and hopefully an attacking midfielder, but he admitted we will have to sell or offload wages to finance the signings, I bet it's one of our promising youngsters, but if he has to he has to get some creativity back in.

Oh, our current team (minus Grant, he'd have a go at keeping us up on his own probably) would probably go straight back down as we would never score, but our entire strike force will either retire or be released at the end of this season, so it's a pretty moot point.

I'm with Indian on not rating any side after seeing them just the one time playing against the club you follow. If I did, I would have Barnet as one of this division's better sides yet they're down there. I would also have Coventry as the best footballing side easily. OTOH, I would easily dismiss Lincoln as a poor side and yet they're up there so I think you know what I'm getting at.

On Notts, I admit I do have my doubts on whether they can keep this up, but my concern stems mostly from the fact that I don't know if they can keep hold of Nolan. If they manage to stave off any potential interest from the bigger clubs then I reckon they stand a very good chance of going up, esp when considering the poor standard of the league this year.

But who's to say Notts will come down back again if they do indeed go up. IIRC, nobody on here gave Wimbledon a chance when they won the play off final and yet they surprised us all by keeping their L1 place and doing so rather comfortably in fact.

Sorry can you repeat that please as I fell asleep after 'You just' due to you being the most boring poster in the League 2 section.
I imagine your voice to sound similar to Trevor Francis or Nigel Mansell on levels of monotone, am I correct?

That’s exactly what I said. I obviously don’t know how sides will recruit for next season, but judged on what I have seen so far L2 is a load of old shite.

You may well be minted for all I know, but even in L1 nowadays you need serious moolah or just be extremely lucky - see Wigan and Blackburn for the first and Shrewsbury the latter. Even Mansfield’s investment is hardly paying off in L2.

If L1 is the only ambition clubs lower down can realistically aspire to these days then what’s the point.

Seems a very odd situation at the moment it must be said. As a resident of the city and due to my wifes family being supporters i do try to follow whats going on as it makes conversation with the in laws go a bit more smoothly. They dont seem to know whats happening and just want to see Derry gone and none of this other behind the scenes manoeuvring taking place.

Think they were a bit sad to see this Dave Doggett bloke go as they seemed to hold him with at least some regard (less so recently it must be said as he seems a backer of Derry) but seems to have lost a bit of a power struggle with Jez George (who they seem to hold at least partially responsible for the poor standard of transfers recently but is in the anti Derry faction so has that in his favour from their PoV) and who to my somewhat casual viewing of it all is someone who seem to talk a good game in the media but without saying much of any real substance. They are concerned that with this Doggett fellow gone George will have even more power which they arent keen on either!!

Far be it from me to weigh in with limited and quite possibly a one sided view of it all, but seems like the clubs in a bit of rut and shake up from top down might not be too bad a thing.

All seems like a miniature version of House of Cards at the moment!

Well now they cant do any more due to Mr Spaceys transgressions maybe theyll be on the hunt for another back stabbing and conniving related tale. Surely battling it out for control of an Abbey is more grand than the White House?

Just seen the gates for last weekend and I know Barnet are not well supported and Morecombe are hardly a draw -- But just over 1100 is awful.

I doubt that we've ever had a massive crowd against Morecambe, either in this league or the one below!
Add to that our home performances in general this season, the proximity of Christmas and the inclement weather conditions, the reported attendance was no surprise.

Luton might even struggle to be honest, it seems that the gap is widening between L2 and L1 and promoted teams the last few seasons rarely flourish.
