Good luck with him, you'll need it. 6' 7" but has struggled badly over the last couple of seasons. Makes mistakes quite a lot. Has had 3 serious ankle injuries in the last 3 years which meant he only played 87 games for us in 4 years.

This post has made me feel a bit better about us missing out on him.

They probably helped each other be better players. Danny suited the CM role rather than being on the wing. Although it also helped having a very attacking full back.

Said it before, but its a growing problem in football. The genuine owners are either dead, old or not have sold up because it's not viable to run a football club at a profit for 99% of teams. That leaves those with honest intentions but without the knowledge of what it takes to run a football club, or without the funds. Or both.

And after that, it's the con merchants who only buy clubs for dodgy reasons. Maybe they think they'll make a quick buck and when it goes to pot, they'll still have their non-football business interests to fall back on.

I do wonder if we are approaching an ownership epidemic where the arse drops out of most of the lower leagues due to a lack of viability and a lack of suitable people willing to take on clubs.

As for the signing of Mayor, FFS why is he still in this fricking division? He should be in L1 as a minimum. Is Lowe that much of a top bloke to play for? Why is he going all the way down to Plymouth? Have some ambition and sign for a L1 club man. Were the wages way above what he could have gotten in L1 or something? Big boost for Plymouth and their hopes of getting out at the first attempt.
