Even when he’s on it he’s more of an impact player anyway, a lot of his better moments for us came off the bench.
If I remember correctly both his league goals for us came off the bench. He did next to nothing when starting, except during a Micky mouse pizza trophy game against Sheffield Wednesday reserves where he scored a couple.

Macauley Bonne at our open training session today, would be very happy if he signed

Yep, would take that signing. Knows where the back of the net is which is our only real weakness at the minute.

I'd agree with that. Didn't he score regularly for Orient a few years ago, got a move to Huddersfield then gone a little quiet?
Edit: No, that was Josh Koroma! Was at the same time though...

Be a good signing for anyone in this league.

Arthur Gnahoua once scored a spectacular long range volley against us, so good even Conrad Logan couldn’t stretch his athletic frame enough to stop it.

When Wrexham were relegated, we managed a home draw against them due to an absolute "worldie" from a player whose name I can't even remember. I think it was the only league goal he scored.

Dom Bernard scored an absolute banger for us against West Brom on Friday evening...I think he has scored one goal in about four years before that...makes me wonder why he doesn't shoot a bit more often.

I put him down as my scorer guess in the prediction league on our forum on the strength of that :D

You had Bakayoko to score? That was a long shot...

Reckon our keeper scoring would have been shorter odds.

Are you sure we didn't pay Barnet £7500 to take him?

I actually think we gave £15k to Spurs, but we claimed half that amount back via tribunal.

Just looked hi m up as he sounded familiar.

He wasn't who I thought but Luke Medley is currently playing for Lordswood in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division. Lordswood are based in Chatham.

This was by no means a worldie but on a similar note we had a player called Glen Downey around 2004/05/06ish who I think only ever played one or two EFL games in his entire career. One of them was at Wrexham and they battered us all match but could only go one ahead, we equalised well against the run of play and they continued to batter us but just one of those games they couldn't score. 85 or so mins Glen Downey pops up and scores the winner to go down in our history books as one of those weird folklore players that never fails to elicit a little chuckle out of the Town fans that remember.

That Luke Medley/Wrexham goal is still the best goal scored by a City player I saw live (Paul Scholes’ volley from the corner the best I’ve seen).

I vaguely remember that goal, we were behind the goal in disbelief that he even attempted it from there! Was a great finish to be fair.

Just to add to it, that goal was his first touch in professional football.
