Absolute bollox they've been taking 2/300 to other games they don't have a loyal support of 900 away fans. More like 300 at most

I have missed 4 away games this season, am I not part of the 300?

Yes you are one of your loyal 300 fans. Your following yday was good considering your down but you don't have 900 loyal fans who go everywhere do you

Allocated 4492 at port vale. I really hope that's the day we go up or win the league.

Surely you'll sell these regardless being so close to doing it?

Would be good to get a decent away crowd ala Wolves, Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday used to bring in their time down here, its rare to see it sold out but you and Bolton should do in those last two home games.

The scenes when the persistent rain we've had here means our pitch is waterlogged and we end up having to play Sheff Utd on a Tuesday night...

Chill out Andy, bit embarrassing.

Blademan, glad you've got the full 4492, that seems to be without any kind of netting of the front few rows, so if you do get promoted at our place there's no way you'd be stopped from getting on the pitch. It's never happened in my life time. As I said further back the only team I've seen try were Brighton and they were thwarted by a few Vale that pre empted the invasion. We did at their place in 94 so I think a lot of people were expecting it as pay back at the time. Hopefully it won't lead to any mither but given the issues last season I wouldn't be surprised if it went off.

If it was up to me though I'd give you the whole Railway Paddock and Stand (won't happen), about 7,000 that would hold. If you had the chance of promotion you'd sell them, and then there'd be less chance of your fans wanting to get into the home ends. 4492 is good for an away allocation in this league, but probably not enough should the game be as important as it could be for you lot. Hopefully we'll be safe by then.

I'd imagine after the issues when Sheff United have come down in recent seasons the police presence will be enormous to prevent pitch invasions and any reactions from our lot as its guaranteed to bring out our worst elements.

If they have the seats right up to the front, no amount of Police / Stewards will stop them getting on the pitch. It would be futile to try to stop them. The police would probably do what they did last season against Walsall and line up in front of the paddock / stand to try and control as many of our idiots as possible. If our lot really wanted to get onto the pitch though it wouldn't be difficult, just go round the back of the paddock and go through the Bycars way, which is what happened when we gave Wolves the Bycars in 2000, loads of mither around the back of the stand that day.

Yes mate will sell out fairly easily this year for obvious reasons.

I won't be going on the pitch at the end if we go up. Guaranteed to be scrapping if any of our fans go on. I don't think we will to be honest but we will wait and see.

Think we'd still sell out anyway to be honest. But I hope it doesn't I'm looking forward to Saturday it should be top day out. Tuesday night's just aren't the same.

Vale and Oldham will be quality. Remember Vale one Tuesday night in 80's. We brought 7k in a 3-3 game.

Oldham will still be sell out if moved to Tuesday but forecast from Thursday is nice and sunny!
Ruin Manchester before though !!

That's some effort, if they sell that it'll be the biggest away following at the Ricoh since we've been in league one (unless I've forgotten one).

Bristol city brought 3750ish the year they won the league.

Of course they'll sell, very quickly.

Towards the end of the season, home numbers at Bramall Lane will be 24K plus.

So even if only a modest 25% of our home support wish to go to Port Vale, that's still a 6K demand.

25% is a conservative figure, we played Scunthorpe the other week and they brought 80% of their home support to Bramall Lane, so relatively speaking Sheff Utd taking nearly 5K to Port Vale during a promotion run in isn't anything special.

3,794 we had and we won 3-1. Would be impressive if they topped that, we'll see.

First time they've played away at Coventry since 1963.

Demand for tickets still quite high. Should top 4,000
