Well i will be one of those POTG tomorrow wether thats irrelevant or not but we sold around 1.2k before we won Saturday and the ticket office has not been open since so i reckon more POTG than normal, might be wrong though.

On the 85 at Fleetwood, Radio Lancs said it looked more like 150, with 30 or so in one of the home stands, no idea why, but that's not the only source that said it appeared more.

However, even if it was 85, in our defence we've had Plymouth, Carlisle and Fleetwood away in successive away games, the last two in the space of three days and Fleetwood was a 7pm kick off.

For us that's approximately the equivalent of travelling halfway to the fucking moon, so I think some slack can be cut.

You’d understand considering you ain’t even the biggest club in Sheffield. How’s the search for Carlos’ dream going? Last I heard it was spotted in Huddersfield. :fl:

1,452 Millers in a crowd of 4,690 at Gigg Lane.

I find it incredible that there's apparently 3,000 Bury fans still willing to watch this shambolic club every week... I haven't attended since the opening day.

Been consistently terrible for 3 seasons now since we've arrived in League One despite big wages being spent.

we are the biggest club in our city though. My fridge has more history than fucking Wigan.

Did you really have less than 10k home fans for a 1st v 2nd game on Boxing Day?

Lincolns excuse for always bringing shit followings 45 miles up the A46 to us is that there's too much dog shit on the pavements. :brill:

It's not all dog shit. Driving to the Cleethorpes Air Show a couple of years ago, we were 'treated' to the sight of a Grimsby resident dropping his pants and having a shit on the pavement, beside the main road, at 9am.

Clearly not then.
Strange post Southey, you go to the trouble of logging on to tell us that you have got some missing figures, but don't share them. Strange.
Blackpool - 319
Bristol R - 277
Charlton - 449
Fleetwood - 86

Fair play, decent following. Personally its a good following. No disrespect shrews but this following exceeds what you expected. I didnt expect u to brimg this amount...u sounded like 4,000 not 1,400sofair play...

It's about time someone brought some fans to the NYS. From 11 home games, I make that an average of 530 ish away fans. Oldham's was understandably lower than usual, Wigan's sub 1,000 given league table was very poor and Scunny's effort given distance and first visit was predictably poor at 1,300.

However, I'm optimistic Pompey can break the 1,000 barrier when visiting, Bradford, Blackburn and Donny should sell out (though with little Donny, you can never quite be sure).

As for us, averaging just shy of 1,200 I think. If you take away the Sky game and weekend followings, we genuinely have travelled around the 1,000 mark for
A standard Saturday game other than the Bristol poor show. Unfortunately, we don't have many appealing games left, so unless we're challenging, I think we'll finish the season around 900 which is about right.

I don’t think we’ll sell out, the game has been moved to a Tuesday night. Still should manage 1,000+.

Oh has it? Must have missed that. Can't be our Cup exploits as we get knocked out first round every time, so must be yours?

And as for 1,000+, I remember the stick we got for only taking 1,700 on a Tues night in out League 2 promotion season so surely you'll have 1,500 minimum?

You got stick for that cos you couldn’t even sell out the garden shed-like Bradford End for what was surely one of the biggest games of your season at the business end between us in the play-offs and you going for autos.

Can’t remember us taking less than 2000 to Rotherham since we got relegated from the Premier, I include attendances at the horrendous DVS in that. Think we will take more than 1000.

Sold out behind the goal that night because i was the few hundred or so on the side bit which i've been in for the last 3 games we have had at your place.

Few occasions at millmoor where you struggled to fill the railway end and you took around 1.5k a few times at DVS which i can understand which was a shite place to watch your team but your followings have been higher to Rotherham than it ever has since you started visiting the NYS imo.

The capacity of the Bradford end is about 1800 so if you only sold 1700 then it won’t have been full, they might have opened the side to make things easier. Either way I still reckon you should have sold the 2500 or whatever we can allocate, especially as you were getting bigger home crowds at the time.

I was in a few attendances well in excess of 2000 at DVS but I can’t remember every time we played there, maybe there was a Tuesday night fixture at some point.

Little Donny who get more at home than you?

Let's not forget you've been in and around the play offs most of the season while we've been struggling at the bottom.

Over 8000 at the Keepmoat again tonight on one of the coldest nights of the year.

If we can keep up our recent results, our away average will soon increase.

Oh and Donny away at Bristol was 389 for anyone who's keeping count.
