The first award is for best thread of the season. Rakish is handed the gold envelope. In truth, this one was never in any doubt and nobody is surprised when King RB reads out his own surname. Although this isn't a personal award, as the creator of the thread, Glasshalffullpools is called up to the stage to collect the award from his hero in what must be the proudest moment of his long long long life. The Bingham thread was the only one to collect more than a single vote. Joint runners up include Oakey's Predicta, the Promotion and Relegation threads, The 2015 awards night thread and (guess who) thee Carlisle v Wycombe match-thread. Someone also voted for Worried Wombles' ref watch, which while excellent, isn't really a thread.

Take one of those longs of and then yes this is a proud moment indeed , but , is this really my moment ? is it a moment for all Pools fans ? is it a moment for all football fans ? ...... I say its not ......This moment is for humanity , and for once the whole world has united behind one man and via the medium of this forum has been rewarded ......
