Well my original post has cleared up a lot of things that were only guess work. It would appear that you're more likely to be bank-rolled if you're from the south. I still find it difficult to believe that Woking are the club with the lowest budget> Sparrow said £250k last season, but I think that's unlikely. The only way a club like us has any chance of getting out of this league is if we have the luck of the draw like Burton, Crawley and Exeter.

I know all that. I think the term bank-rolled needs examining. Do you deny that the University prevented you from going into administration when they took ownership of the Racecourse? Or did they have their own agenda? I do know that we've both had several unscrupulous owners that were all out for their own ends. Whatever your situation, and a lot of it is speculation {and bollux on Deva Chat}, I hope that we can be playing EFL games against each other within the next 10 years.
How is the university situation any different than Chester FC and Chester and Cheshire West Council? Other than the fact we pay substantially more in rent?

Edit: I missed your earlier post. In light of that CFC get a far better deal from the Council than we do from the University. So you are also Bankrolled by public money, just to a greater extent.

As for being done out of money by Morrison Shand have you seen those massive flats sat on our car park? A daily reminder of the 5.5m we never received. Oh and the training ground paid for by our 90s FA cup run that we aren't allowed to use.

I've never understood the Deva chat conspiracy theories about how we are secretly funded by public money. The truth isn't hard to uncover.

Yesterday's FA Cup draw was a reminder how far Maidstone United have progressed. Here are Enfield Town beating Maidstone 3-0 at home in 2015.

Since then we have been promoted twice, extended the main stand (FA Cup money), replaced the worn out 3G pitch and built a new terrace (owner's money), gone full time (gate receipts), introduced segregation (see stewards in clip), built extra turnstiles and exits and there will soon be a flashy new scoreboard (sponsored). Original crowd estimates of 800 were immediately doubled, then tripled in five years.

There have been other non league clubs with similar meteoric rises, but how many have disappeared back where they came from? I believe the infrastructure put in place means we are sustainable at this level and maybe one day even higher. Having witnessed our progression, the best thing has been watching our owners trying to do things the right way and in a professional manner.

I don't know about lowest budget but Woking definitely don't have an expensive squad... Manager is an young coach in his first senior management role, and the squad is full of kids, either on loan or released by bigger clubs. Only budgets lower could be Chester, Solihull, Maidenhead and possibly Dover, Bromley and Boreham Wood, off the top of my head.

All of Woking's players are postmen and milkmen, who play for free because of their love for the game.

Yep, definitely can't see you going down and struggling anytime soon.
