Notts always seem to give up against us when they concede first. It's definitely a mental thing with them.
The more that they never seem to beat us, the more and more they get reminded of it every season which seems to play on their minds. We are the exact same with Accrington Stanley.

Yup, it's really weird, we did all of the things yesterday that we haven't done at all this season.

For some reason we just seem to do ridiculous things at Field Mill like conceding a second goal five minutes after going behind because we overcommitted at our own corner. Definitely a mental thing and very annoying, but we're still on for about 105 points even after yesterday.

It was a decent crowd in yesterday, 5400 home fans is a good effort, we're slowly getting there on that front, slowly. Was nice the atmosphere was alright too.

As for stewarding, it's almost like a weekly apology season on their behalf, always heavy handed. Though the police apparently intervened behind the away end when the county fans (again) started causing damage behind the away end - it's obviously a small number which don't reflect the other, decent fans

Saw none of that to be fair, was all pretty well behaved - the thing that kicked off in the second half was, I shit you not, because they tried to arrest a kid for criminal damage because his (already massively cracked) seat broke when he sat back down.

I noticed on Stagsnet report that 20% percent of our afternoon fixtures are 1pm kick offs.

Its not surprising. If anyone else came across the picture of the steward at a recent Forest v Wolves game where he had a fan in the headlock. He's the bloke who owns the company that do the stewarding at Field Mill.

Disappointing performance by Notts yesterday, felt we matched mansfield pretty much in the first half, but we were slow to get going in the second as per the Lincoln game, heads dropped and mansfield had their tails up. That Hemming's didn't seem that good up top, missed about 3 chances for you but Rose was quality. The warning signs were coming for notts after Mansfield scored though and we lost all structure after that. Thought the ref was poor yesterday, Mirfin was pulling Stead all over. We should've started Ameobi as he gave Notts a lot more physically when he came on, and we missed Jones at left back massively, though Dickinson scored, he didn't have a good game, and whoever's idea it was to let him take that free kick before mansfield's second goal is an idiot, he was hopelessly out of position for the goal.

It's too early to tell whether Notts have been found out, Mansfield looked a good team, well organised, so it is strange to see how they got turned over 3-0 on tuesday.

I didn't really have a problem with the Stewards, I thought if anything they weren't involved enough, there was a group of adolescent lads (the ones who later were involved in the trouble) standing all game, and despite people behind them telling them to sit down and telling the stewards, the stewards and police did bugger all about it. Really wish they'd just make away games unreserved, or at the least have a 'standing' section or something. I'd be pissed off if I was sitting behind them.
