I fancy us to get a point, how times have changed but we're looking pretty impressive for a change. Cannot remember the last time we won three games in a row mind you.

Looks like the away end will out number the home end, can only think of Coventry where they have had a home game and been outnumbered and then gone away and done the same thing.

1-1 - Vassell

Surely Morecambe will get over 2,000 home fans for what is essentially their biggest game. Poor show if not.

Great local derby and it should easily be Morecambe's biggest gate of the season. 1-1 to keep Pool's promotion on track !!

Morcambe making me look a tit this week. Perhaps this league really is no better than the Conference...

Ah well, back in our box. Played sh1t apparently. Was going to go to Barnet on Tuesday, I'll have to re-evaluate if that's the effort the players will put in.

I would never be put off supporting my team by simply listening to what others say about a performance. Blackpool looked very good in parts on Saturday especially in the 1st half. Morecambe certainly rode their luck and were probably fortunate to go in at 1-1 although Blackpool could also have been down to 10 men with Barkhuizen absolutely terrorising Taylor at left back. Second half was a different story with Morecambe getting the upperhand before a fabulous goal by Michael Rose. From going in front we never looked like conceeding but Blackpool never stopped trying with Potts, Vassell & laterly Cullen looking lively in attack. Danny Pugh also put in a good shift in midfield and i liked the look of Osayi-Samuel and Tom Aldred too. So all in all some decent performances from the Blackpool players who certainly looked prepared to graft for Gary Bowyer.

Whether that changes your mind about travelling to Barnet makes no odds to me. If supporting your club now means following them on social media and fans forums, then this old git is glad he doesn't get it!!

Hmm, not quite sure you understand our position and what's happening at this club. It's very difficult to get excited or really care about football when the club has spent more time suing people and less time trying to stop us from falling out of the football league pyramid. The quality of football has no effect on my decision making in reality as we have been here before we won the lottery. When you are treated like scum by the club you support, you try muster the energy up to go and follow them away.

I'll leave it after this but if you were to read your own post back YOU might understand how this simple old git might be slightly confused.:dk:

No, I know why you said what you said. But I was merely talking from a football point of view. The whole situation is depressing tbh.

Surely in your situation, it's easier to go watch Blackpool away than at home as at least you're not putting money into the Oystons' pockets?

what do you need me to explain? How spread betting works, or that last week I was posting on here that the Morcambe were a pub team that wouldn't score at Cleethorpes Widders ball (and they got 7 goals in the next 7 days)...

or that the second favourites for relegation just won away at the fourth favourites for promotion...

Morecambe are often chalked down for one of the relegation spots and often prove their doubters wrong, staying in this league may be a tougher ask this season, but I'm not at all surprised they've shown they've still something about them. Even if they did go down I wouldn't expect it to be straightforward.
