No .... the time when you'll have to start worrying is if you don't beat us on 3/10/17

Our annual three points at Chester is the surest thing in football. Except for Liverpool fans mentioning their history during an argument.

Having spent the last 12 months on the Conference North forum, I appear to have missed the departure of the magnificent Gary Hill-
1) What's happened to him?
2) What the hell were you thinking?

Thanks :dk:

He's about 10th favourite on the list for our next manager, behind people like Bignot, Barrow, Higgins, Reid, Davies, Askey, Jenkins and others I can't bring to mind.

I totally didn't realise Gravesend had drawn all but one of their games this season (you're welcome, by the way).

A totally uninteresting game for us down in Southampton. against the division's other draw specialists. We'll probably lose though.

If it wasn't for Ashmore and us finally finding our shooting boots, we wouldn't have won that!

I had no idea of the history of Ebbsfleet until your post about Gravesend confused me, so I had to google. Taken over by 27,000 random people? That's fucking mental. How that didn't go pear shaped I'll never know.

We are without Jennings tonight - who has managed 5 yellows in 9 games - most of which are for dissent. Add to that Hurst's injury, and the back 4 which has had a run of clean sheets is likely to have an unfamiliar look - the likely scenario is Roberts back in at Rb Pearson Manny and Carrington shifted across to LB. In our last home game we scored 2. I would happily take a 1 nil but agree we are not scoring enough. Reid and Massanka both have plenty of pace. Boden needs a goal, but when he came on against Bromley he showed some quality.

Yep tough match with a now makeshift defence with us struggling to score many goals as it is, think I would be happy with a 0-0, and 17 points from the opening 10 matches would be a solid start.

We will beat you though. We always do. It's THE LAW.

Good to see you're already thinking about your cup final. Get out and dust off the red carpet for me at the away end again please.

It did in the end... that's why we needed new ownership asap when we got relegated.

Last random game I will be doing for a while, was hoping to make tonight but alas it wasn't to be. E10rifle will be jealous to know that I'm getting to watch Rowan Liburd instead...

1-0 Shaymen, what a goal from Adam Morgan! Did I mention he played in Champions League for Liverpool? :ds:

What an utterly nuts game of football.

We should be about 6-4 down to be honest yet somehow 2-0 up.

It's not incisive play but god awful mistakes from both sides making this a ridiculously open game.

Christ knows how it will end

Listening to the match at work, commentators call for a penalty, DSY gets yellow for diving and immediately goes off injured. Somehow I get the feeling it wasn't a dive.

Maidstone have become ruthless at "winning" free kicks this season. I don't like it, but have watched other teams do it better than us for years.

Orient trying to put together a miss of the season compilation.

I have never seen a game like this in my life.

I'd be absolutely livid as an Orient fan

We simply don't score or concede. Us v Guiseley on Saturday is the ultimate 0-0 banker.

If anything sums up how tight this league is it's at Dagenham where at 1-0 they were top of the league. Two goals later and they are down to 8th

Equalised in the 92nd minute, lost it in the 94th minute through a gaffe from our on loan keeper. Chester luck.

Sounds like we've played better again though and looks like there's signs of improvement.

We're only 4 points off top place, but 13th in the league....very odd season this so far.

Only managed to catch the second half commentary but sounded like both teams had at least one decent chance to win it, with us hitting the crossbar.

Good point going into Saturday at Orient.

This from the Leyton Orient Forum tonight.

'Halifax are nothing special at all, how they've kept clean sheets until now is beyond me as we've opened them up with ease only to contrive to miss in ways only FIFA knows how'

8 consecutive away games in the league without conceding :gr:
