Altrincham v Wrexham
Chesterfield v Halifax
Dagenham v Aldershot
Eastleigh v Torquay
Maidenhead v Bromley
Solihull v Stockport
Woking v Dover

Reduced fixture list because of covid.

Fixture that immediately jumps off the page 1st v 2nd at the Proact Stadium. I'd take a point now. I'm never confident away from home but we've won 5 or 6 on the road so far so we have been decent on the road. Not sure what Chesterfield's injury crisis Is like. Anyone back for the Game?

Solihull v Stockport could be tasty aswell.

Wrexham should win at Alty. Bromley should also be beating Maidenhead.

More time that the club has to get the embargo lifted and Ron has to make up another lie to keep it there!

Still loads missing obvs and we don't really know who's available, but we do know that asante is back. Probably on the bench though.

Very annoying not being Covid riddled but still never playing a game of football anyway.. hoping Halifax can take something at Ches, I reckon.

Home sell-out tomorrow. It’s reduced capacity because of our ‘covid safe’ area where we have a couple blocks with social distancing plus some segregation between those fans and the rest of the home end. I’m expecting 6500 home fans and ~ 500 Fax fans.

Should be a good game. Jack Clarke and Asante back are huge boosts to the squad.

Very much looking forward to tomorrows game, our first home 3pm in for what seems like forever so no surprise we’ve pretty much sold out the home end (along with the small fact it’s a top of table clash…)

Encouraging signs from Rowe in the presser regarding players returning, I think the majority of our more shorter term injured players will be back available for selection. Asante is now fully fit apparently, as is Clarke, and I would suspect Croll, Gunning, Maguire, Rowe and King are the ones that could be back or at least 1 or 2 of them.

Hard to give a predicted line up when not sure who’s actually going to be back available, but I hope we go 2 upfront. Asante might not have played in 8 months but if JR says he’s fully fit… fuck it throw him in, cannot wait to see Tshimanga x Asante in this team!

Been a weird season for Saturday home games. We haven't played a Saturday home league game since 9th October.

As for our team. Think we are pretty much fully fit. Baring a couple of longer term absentees in Stenson and Allen

Khan instead of Clarke for me!

Harsh to drop Kellerman to the bench and I doubt Rowe will, but that team on paper looks very very strong

Serious question, why would you expect rugby fans to attend? :dk:

I could see us starting Kellerman and Khan behind Kabby up top on his own, changing it on 60 mins for Clarke and Asante.

Great to finally have these options.

We tend to do better away so far this season but I have a bad feeling about tomorrow, both first team keepers had covid in the last week so we might have a youth teamer in there

Tough game at Solihull, especially when with a 48 hour turnaround for us and they didn't play Boxing Day so will be fresh.

Wouldn't be that disappointed with a point.

Doesn't seem that fair on us, Alty, Bromley or Torquay to play 48 hours later against teams that didn't play their scheduled fixtures.

You've played 3 games in 25 days I think they'll be OK.

Not really how playing sport and performing physical activity works.

If anything the lack of games prior to a short burst of 2 full 90 minutes in 72 hours would be to your detriment.

It's recovery time after a game. Every player aching like fuck the next day, usually still feeling it the second day.

We all know it happens at Christmas with the 26th and then the 28th common but when the opposition haven't done it, it's a big advantage to the fresher team IMO.

Full fixture list in the Northern Premier League today.

They probably just don't test.

We'll have to get that stage soon enough IMO. The higher up the divisions up you go, the more cancellations there are.

Get back to how it was if someone showed symptoms of any virus- send that person home to essentially isolate as you don't want it to spread around your camp. Said player or players miss out through illness.

Most postives up and down the leagues are asymptomatic.

Thank f**k you've got about 45 players in your squad.

It is what it is. And I do understand the need for rest for professional athletes, I was being disingenuous.

Then again its not a level playing field in this league is it- Its not fair that some of us can pay ridiculous wages that other teams can't even dream of. Its not fair that some teams play their home games on 4G whilst Kings Lynn can't afford a groundsman and Aldershots pitch doesn't drain. Its not fair that Notts Counry can seat 12k in their stadium and Altrinchams ground has been pretty much condemned.

Not following most of that really. That's just standard stuff across football. People have different sized stadiums?

Never a fan of 4G, the only point I really see any value there mate.

48 hours is too short if the other team hasn't played. Solihull are a good team, I really would be surprised if we beat them tomorrow/today. And I think we can beat and potentially smash any team in this league on our day under Challinor when it's an even playing field.

Keep saying this but I don't understand why anyone is testing. There is no requirement for teams to be doing so. I know for a fact we aren't as Wild has stated as much in interviews. You look for problems you are bound to find them.

Like you say there has to be turning point where you don't have to run off home if you Test positive and that turning point should have been when the science told us this variant wasn't as likely to be serious to most.

Chesterfield police liaison effectively recommending home fans just pay on the day in the away end. Think today could be interesting…

Readin in NL paper at weekend the NPL currently ask clubs to "require every player to carry out a pcr or lateral flow test before attending the stadium" so if Halifax are not doing this there may be sanctions from the league.Unless Wild Is talking shit

Looking forward to the trip to Altrincham. We are scoring goals for fun away from home but lot will depend on what team we are able to put out after Covid.
Hopefully another win to put pressure on teams at the top of the table
