Chesterfield police liaison effectively recommending home fans just pay on the day in the away end. Think today could be interesting…
The away end holds 2000 and you’ll bring what, 5-700? Can’t see any issue with a couple hundred chesterfield fans sitting at the other end of the same stand with a few stewards in between. It’s not Fener vs Galatasaray.

Oh if they do that and do it properly then absolutely no drama at all.

More thinking if it’s a mix,- all jt takes is 3 or 4 dickheads on either side

Tbf to them Spireites Police are usually pretty good. I’d expect em to have a plan drawn up to separate any town fans in the North Stand.

Not following most of that really. That's just standard stuff across football. People have different sized stadiums?

Never a fan of 4G, the only point I really see any value there mate.

48 hours is too short if the other team hasn't played. Solihull are a good team, I really would be surprised if we beat them tomorrow/today. And I think we can beat and potentially smash any team in this league on our day under Challinor when it's an even playing field.

It just seems a little much for a fan of Stockport to be complaining about things being unfair given the inherent disparity between teams in this league. It's a quick turnaround and if the other team didn't play 48 hours earlier in theory they should be fresher- but for a lot of these teams, if they've had a large number of players off isolating due to Covid, they won't have been able to train together. So it's less than ideal for everyone.

And as I said before you've barely played in December so should have a fit squad you can utilise to overcome any fatigue issues from playing 2 games in 3 days.

D&R v Shots, a strange sort of uninteresting game which will probably be a thriller. Just hope for a draw to keep our unbeaten momentum going. At least we’re playing..

Right I’m taking a punt at a predicted XI and bench for today.. no one knows for sure who’s back fit but I’ll take a guess!

Loach
Williams - Grimes - Whittle
King - Oyeleke - Khan - Weston - Miller
Tshimanga - Asante

Subs:
Kerr
Kellerman
Clarke
Mandeville
Rowe

It’s harsh to drop Kellerman but that starting midfield 3 has everything I want to see in a midfield so fuck it why not! Whittle for me cannot be dropped, he has been unbelievable on the left side of the back 3, think Maguire is going to do well to get back in when he’s fit if he carries on this form. I’m being very optimistic on Asante starting and Rowe actually being in the squad so it’s probably more hope than expectation but I would love to see that XI today. I’ve also no clue if King is actually back available, but if not I’d just move Williams to RWB and bring Kerr into central defence.

I think JR will be bringing Gunning & Maguire back into the fold for the Kings Lynn game as he’ll want his leaders back in. After that, that’s pretty much everyone back other than the long termers (Hollis, Denton, Carline & Rowley)!

2-1 win, Kabongo and late Asante winner

i hope King is available, good player at the shay, but a bit suspect defensively and very prone to a yellow card. Think Wild will know that and I’m sure we’ll try rattle him early doors to get him off his game.

Readin in NL paper at weekend the NPL currently ask clubs to "require every player to carry out a pcr or lateral flow test before attending the stadium" so if Halifax are not doing this there may be sanctions from the league.Unless Wild Is talking shit
At what point do you do that before attending the stadium. 1 day. 2 days?
Or 2 hours before kick off? If someone tests positive doesn't mean others will at that point so you play the game then have an outbreak after it.
Or do you just call the game off for fear you may or may not have a subsequent outbreak. Where does the line get drawn because we could literally carry on like this forever.

Think most Town fans have already forgotten him.

Solihull haven't had Covid. They're match was postponed because you had covid in your squad.

Not sure we're on the same page here on it. Don't worry about it.

NL rules are clear minimumof 13 players available including 1 goalkeeper ..Test results have to be submitted to NL .Only NL can postpone matches not clubs.Matches have to be postponed no later than 6 hours before match being played

I’m not nervous either to be honest, more buzzing with the fact it’s going to be a home sell out, our first since the football league days!

Know it’s gonna be a tough game but being unbeaten at home so far gives me confidence. No doubt as soon as it kicks off the nerves will kick in, but like Dan said it’s only December and we’ve still got that game in hand regardless

Stronger team then expected for us. Not sure what Tyler French has to do to get a game, been one of our best players this season, unless he has covid. No midfielder on the bench.
Hopefully Mullin is over his hamstring issue and can actually run today
