Good win against a decent Scarborough side. Great at home, so inconsistent away. If we can sort our away form, we have a great chance to make top 7 with the likes of Lyden, Howkins, Cameron and Williams out injured. Big game Saturday vs Scunthorpe - will be a real test for us.
We're shocking away so I don't expect us to turn up. You'll go away thinking how we are possibly 2nd

Assume Pugh can't play as he's on loan, forgot about that until I saw him assist last night

Let’s hope so as we need a little run to break into the play offs rather than be on the fringes.

No he can’t play and his last scheduled game is Tuesday vs Warrington. Hopefully we can get something done for the season - has been solid and had his best game on Tuesday. Definitely need another central midfielder with Lyden out until January and injury prone.

Saw you’ve only sold 161 tickets as of last evening which is massively disappointing. Considering you’re second and visiting a fellow ex football league side (in all but registered company name before someone pipes up) and the fact Scunthorpe fans were saying they’re taking 700+ everywhere, that’s really crap. Was expecting 500+ but looking very unlikely unless there’s a massive upturn in tickets sold

Hereford is probably the least appealing trip of the season for us. It’s one of our furthest and we’ve played you before, most of the teams we’ve never played before. God knows I will not be travelling to Hereford to see us lose.

No idea where you’ve seen our fans say we take 700+ everywhere

Our game v Gloucester off today. Not too sad about that. Not much fun watching their shenanigans in the freezing cold.

Probably would have been fine as it goes but didn't take a chance.

What a win for us today, beating Hereford 5-1.

They'd only conceded 5 at home this season before today, we've doubled that now.

Top of the league as Tamworth didn't play, what an amazing week for us.

Narrow 1-0 win over Brackley tonight. Not really on song and a lucky one, have Stanway to thank for it. Deserve a bit of luck though really.

I think we had the displeasure tonight of seeing the worse ever refereeing performance of all time.

There is a difference between luck and blatant cheating.

Take a look at your player on

Even with this Chester fans are posting they can't see anything.

Makes you want to give up.
You're mistaking 14's left arm and gloved hand for Williams' leg and foot, as others are. It's an optical illusion from that angle. If he had dived all of those Brackley players right next to it would have been going bonkers at him and none of them did. He does play for it though, yes.

I had an unobstructed view at the game and saw the contact. It was 100% a penalty. Should have had another one in the second half as well when Whitehouse was clattered over.

Yep, freeze framed it and still see the contact. He's after it though, absolutely.

You played well and were the better side but you weren't hard done by with decisions. O'Sullivan should have walked for an elbow (one of many), we should have had a pen in the second half and don't get me started on Newton. Three minutes first half added time and played eight when there were no stoppages as well. Put his whistle to his mouth three times and then put it down again when there was a sniff of a Brackley attack.

It's a stupid challenge to make, going off his feet from a distance. Likely outcome was a penalty if he made any contact.

Very poor performance by us tonight against Solihull.

First half we were terrible and deservedly behind. They got a man sent off right at the end of the half which meant we dominated the 2nd half but didn't have many clear cut chances.

I expected to lose with Solihull being the league above but it was disappointing just how poor we played.

The high wind definitely spoiled the game today but we handled the conditions far better than Tamworth did and we’re deserved winners, up to 4th now but a couple of defeats could put us down to 16th again. This is a bonkers league this year.

Managed to see off the challenge from Blyth to progress to the next round of the Trophy, credit to both sides for a game that was played under extremely difficult conditions. Chorley clearly the better side on the day.

We lost 6-1 at Chesterfield. Took a deserved lead after 17 mins, then they grew into the game, equalised then took the lead just before half time. Second half we continued to stand off them and they bossed it and added another. After that we brought on Carver and Walton and had a right go at them, coming close on a couple of occasions, then we got stung by some very dodgy refereeing decisions with them adding two more as a direct result from this. Renshaw's catflap hand made yet another appearance for their 6th goal in the last minute.

We deserved to lose but the scoreline isn't a fair reflection of the game. I just wish we'd have had a go at them a bit more, they played some academy players who I think we made look good by giving them time on the ball.

Good away turnout from us, 259 travelled.

Chester doing us a favour to keep us top

I can see Chester getting involved in the Title fight now after a slow start, they're building momentum

Dismal defensive display in a 5-3 loss at Chippenham. 3 down at HT and looking as useless as ever with Danny Wright lumbering about up top. Changed things at half time with him coming off not long after and we sprung into life, making it 3-2 before self imploding with more dog shit defending.

150+ City in a poor crowd of 400 and something, with Chippenham bizarrely playing home crowd noise over the PA system

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Farsley away for curzon tonight I cannot do midweek games but may buy the tv showing it worked well for curzon/Blyth but the signal was really poor for the South Shields game so unsure.

Got to give Farsley credit this season, the usual year on year favourites for the drop have been very comfortable this season. Had some good results.

We need to try and win this game if we want a play off challenge this is the typical Curzon game we flog season on season which always costs our change, a club not ex league with a small close knit ground,

Not sure why but we always lack the same effort and fight for these games than others and it’s games we ‘should’ on paper win if we did show the same battling skills.

For farsley they have a great record vs curzon so I’d expect they hope this is an ideal chance to open a gap at bottom.

We are winning 1-0 at half time we really should be winning 3-1 but as usual recent weeks we struggle to capitalise on our chances.

Think we are better side so far certainly looked more dangerous but it’s a close game and farsley nearly equalised near end of half.

Need to find that killer second goal, we are playing really well over the last 5-6 games and dominating spells but out lack of a killer touch is costing us, but this is easily best we have played at farsley for a long time

Well they right royalty f*cked that up.

1 up and an extremely comfortable second half where farsley created nothing then 4 minutes into injury time they equalise from us switching off, then get a free kick edge of box for a sloppy needless tackle which also led to a red and the resultant 97th minute free kick gets whacked into the net for a very undeserved winner for them.

But that being said……….got far too complacent, didn’t really try much for the second goal in the second half and while farsley did nothing much either as shown jist needs a moment to turn it around.

Won’t make top 7 again, we play well but cannot keep flogging crucial points on the board, don’t score enough to kill the games.

Terrific hard fought 3 points against Buxton tonight, behind 1-0, equalised before HT, the half was marred by an incident just before HT wherecthe Referee totally lost control and this resulted in a sending off each plus cardx for the Managers. Second half we took a deserved lead only for Buxton to peg us back before Mark Ellis scored with a terrific back post header from a corner to clinch the points, into the top 4 now but a very difficult away game at Dcunthorpe on Saturday.

Big win for us over Peterborough, we're in great form at home and have won 4 in 4 there under Cook now. Darlington on Saturday could really turn the season around with three points.

Cruised to victory today over Chorley, 7 home wins in a row now.

There's a bit of a gap that's formed between Scunny/Tamworth and the rest. Still early days but nice to be on top in December.

As soon as I saw we had Smalley out injured plus Cross (who could now be out for the season) I knew we'd be lucky to get anything. Ngandu and Asante were miles ahead of anything we had on the pitch and some of the individual performances from our lot was absolutely dire. Unfortunately the damage was done in pre-season with the Hungerford chancers bringing in players nowhere near good enough and with a couple of injuries we look devoid of any kind of attacking threat. Darlo deserved winners.

Our charge to the play offs starts now.

Joking aside our manager seems to think both clubs will get out of the relegation scrap.
