Missing out on today’s game. The last time Tranmere won a play off final was against another BWFC, missed that game too as I was in SE Asia as I am now. Hoping lightning strikes twice.

Positives of Boreham Wood going up:

- The Tranmere home fixture is worth an extra 20k at least to us
- Tranmere is a cracking away day
- Get to see Tranmerewhite crying
- It'll be quite funny seeing the crowds BW pull in the FL. They'll be the smallest club to reach that level since before the war

Positives of Tranmere going up:

- Tranmere are a club that deserve to be in the football league
- Tranmerewhite will stop posting in the non league forums

BW edge it for me. Either going up would be ideal for their own reasons.

Nothing against BW, but Tranmere fans were brilliant during the occasion last season. It seems having a previous failure actually strengthens your chances the next time. It did for us and Grimsby.
Good luck to both sides, but I'd like to see Tranmere gain the reward.

it's a great occasion, the best feeling ever when you win.

i just hope whoever wins it makes better preparations for the EFL than we did. The step-up was greater than I expected. We have been woeful this season.

The thing is Tranmere have already messed up before against Boring Wood in the 2015/16 season. They lost 2-0 at Prenton Park. Had they won that they would have qualified for the play-offs that season and BW would have been relegated!

Honestly, think I’d rather have Boreham Wood just because it’s vaguely interesting

What’s “interesting” about a heavily bankrolled hobby club with 400 fans who use any and every tactic to squeeze every last penny out of visiting clubs?

I’ve backed Boreham Wood at 10/3 purely because I see the game as a 50/50 match

Be with you. Please don't fuck it up so we don't have to see you next season. Cheers.

Didn't know this game was today I thought it was on Sunday, please don't fuck this up Tranmere, letting both FGR and Boreham Wood into League 2 in successive seasons would constitute ultimate tinpottedness and may make Master D re-write his Natural Order list.

Good luck for today Tranmere. Been in that position, second final in as many years, against a much smaller club who you see yourselves as naturally on a different planet to (we all know that means nothing but who is rational on playoff final day...). Hope you get the job done!

Tranmere fans were very decent when we beat them last year, reckon they finally deserve a bit of play-off success.

Great to see Jennings back involved so soon. Bwood seem to be missing several key players (and several thousand fans).

Red card after 50 seconds! Don’t agree with the decision but at least the ref hadn’t refused to give a red card because they don’t want to ‘ruin the occasion’.
