Go and watch the match, I hope it is the worst thing ever witnessed since the Nazi concentration camp atrocities.

By which I'm clearly referring to the span of time between 1933 and today rather than implying anything else at all related to the example I plucked from the air. Of course. Ahem.
Calm down mate, you paraphrased something incorrectly when it was a needless thing to do. We just made it 1-0 as well, you can't touch my mood.

Take it down a notch to something less extreme. Saying something is "the best since", or "the worst since", is a time reference -- it compares everything since to the subject at hand, while conceding it's significantly less good/bad than the example given (hence, the worst/best SINCE). It's a time reference and it's amazing that you somehow seem to disagree. It's a grammatical fact, it's what the combination of words mean.

We both know you're watching mate.

I am watching, there's a few Liverpool attackers I am weighing up for my fantasy side.

Aye we'll score a lot this season, just hope they can tighten up at the back then we may then properly challenge for silverware.

Yeah, I agree completely. The front four looks lethal. Firmino, Mané, Coutinho, Salah. They'll get plenty of goals. If the players at the other end of the pitch don't step up, though, all the exciting attacking play won't get you very far.

Salty, don't get me wrong. I don't give a fuck if Bayern gets hammered, I can't stand this club. I really like what i see in the first 45 minutes from Liverpool in the offense.

You wanna get Salah right in there. He's averaging one goal per 45 minutes so far and he's burnt a few solid chances.

We did smash Barca 4-0 last season though ...

Salah is the one I have at the moment but I've had my eye on Mané too. I think between those two and Firmino you'll actually spread the goals around quite evenly...assists too, so it's tough.

On another note, why are people repeatedly referring to James as if he didn't perform at Real? He scored one goal every 136 minutes last season from midfield for fucks sake.

To be fair, he is "bringing his unique perspective as a manager of no fewer than four Premier League teams" (I laughed).

I'm surprised you're not being more supportive GB. :shifty:

Well, to be fair it can't go any worse than last time, Pags.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
Planning permission requested for a new training ground complex. Required because the new stadium is being built over the top of the current one, hopefully if that's approved.

The new complex will feature "first-class facilities including ten full-size pitches, three junior pitches, an indoor artificial playing surface, state-of-the-art medical, fitness, sports science and rehabilitation facilities, administrative space and a press conference theatre." The site is 57 acres of a vacated golf course, which the club has now purchased.

It will for the first time bring onto one location the first team, development team and academy. No idea of cost but it must be several million.

Building and funding a new training ground and new stadium simultaneously seems a lot for the club to take on!

We've joined the Chinese takeover club with someone who struggled to get past FFP regulations buying 80% of the club for £210m.

The Prem board barred Gao in February after obtaining evidence he had twice been involved in corruption cases in China, one of which ended with a senior city politician being executed by lethal injection.

SunSport has confirmed that Gao was indeed named in Chinese state media as one of a number of businessmen who gave bribes to Xu Maiyong, the vice-mayor of the city of Hangzhou known as “Xu three more” because of his lust for money, women – and more women.

Massive shame that the Liebherr era is near enough at it's end, but it's been clear since Koeman left last summer that the money might not be there anymore.

Suppose this can now go either way and we're once again in a position wondering if this can take the club to the next level, or send us alongside Portsmouth and Blackburn.
