By far the worst we have played this season, Fulham were shit yet it was men against boys. For Tomlin to turn shit and lazy the fucker needs to actually play, star signing yet we won't change our shape to fit him in the side.
That’s where it all went tits up for him here.. we DID change our shape to fit him in the team and it failed miserably.. we did better when he was finally outcast.

If you lose your next home game on sat then I’d worry, everyone has an off day.. we’ve had a few at home where we were wank but bounced back immediately.

P.s - I hope you do fail you welsh c*** :bg:

The annoying thing is when he has played things have worked and we've looked dangerous, which is what's making his absence strange. Warnock obviously doesn't fancy him so why sign him in the first place? We've got Preston on Friday so that's another loss as we never beat those bastards. The injuries we've had have now taken their toll on us, lack of depth has hit us at the busiest time of the season. Hopefully we can get some quality in in January to help us turn it around.

Our team that currently sits second and in the last four of the league cup is almost exactly the same group of players that nearly got relegated last season.. minus Lee Tomlin. The man is utterly poisonous. So glad we got rid of him.

Get a grip for fucks sake I thought you was taking the piss when you said the wheels have come off, the way some people go off after a couple of losses at football is absolutely pathetic. Good job some of you don't support us after the 6 game run of 2 points, you'd of been suicidal, all wanting manager out as well no doubt

I thought he was taking the piss. Cardiff are doing well, and continue to answer the doubters. Fulham are decent on their day. What I will say about our fans, is that most are consistent in their dislike of Bruce. Even when we was on a fine run, a lot of fans were still not happy, and still said we won't go up.

I was taking the piss with the wheels falling off bit, I'm not worried in the slightest. Aim was play-offs and there's no reason why we can't get that. Said from day one that the autos will probably be a step too far for us with all the money flying round the league.

Thing is, the teams capable of top two are starting to reduce and reduce and some people may not expect the likes of Bristol City, Cardiff etc. to maintain the pace but there aren't loads of viable threats really. Derby are probably favourites in a lot of people's eyes but us and Sheffield United have proved ourselves not to be bombproof and the only other sides who could potentially put a run together are Villa/Boro who have work to do from 9 points off the pace at this stage and inconsistent form.

I fancy Derby as things stand but we're now at the stage when we can't just expect unfancied sides at the start of the season to drop away.

Very much game on and I'm delighted to be as close as we are right now and in the mix. I fancy us to be right in the top two mix at the end of January after games against Birmingham, Forest, Ipswich, Millwall and Hull but then we have a hellish, make or break run of fixtures:

Cardiff (H)
Sheffield United (A)
Bristol City (H)
Derby (A)
Brentford (H)
Middlesbrough (A)
Wolves (H)

followed by Reading (A) and Wednesday (H).

Would have snapped your hand off for this position at the turn of the year, however, despite our electric start.

Wolves, then Villa and Derby away in the next 4. If we get through that still in 2nd or thereabouts (at which point we'll have a few players back from injury, Diedhiou and Pisano will be like new signings) then I'll really start to believe.

Thing that worries me about Derby is they barely concede. They don't look that special going forward but if you only need to score 1 a game you don't need to be, and you won't drop many points. As well as we're going at the moment we don't keep enough clean sheets for my liking.

Leeds are looking ominous but Magic's post has made me feel better about them catching, that's a brutal run :eyes: Sheff Utd may have had their blip but they were still the best team I've seen against us this season, they're not going away. Whispers the seed we planted in the summer to slowly poison Cardiff's dressing room from the inside is beginning to bear fruit. Maybe wishful thinking, but I think they could be the ones to slide from the top 6.

Villa, Terry coming back will be big but they haven't really threatened to put together a big winning run at any point all season. Think talk of the autos has been more because they're Aston Villa than anything they've actually done on the pitch. Easily can see them missing out on the playoffs. And it will be interesting how Pulis does where for the first time in a long time he'll be expected to go out on the front foot and win every game. They could start tearing it up but I wouldn't say it's inevitable.

Outside of those, Preston, Fulham and Brentford could make a late surge for the playoffs but we should have enough of a cushion on them at this point, and if we don't then we won't have done enough ourselves anyway.

At this point, I'd go for it ending up:

1) Wolves
2) Derby
3) Bristol City
4) Leeds
5) Sheff Utd
6) Middlesbrough
7) Cardiff
8) Fulham
9) Aston Villa
10) Preston
11) Brentford

But that race for 2nd is looking so tight. Should be fun! Still can't quite believe we're in the conversation

Boro worry me more than anyone even if they are 9 points behind, with that team they can go on a run capable of getting 2nd.

I assume the game at our place, for Derby, got a big reaction as they were really poor but are absolutely steaming along now!
IF we can reign Wolves in a bit on Saturday, this season could go right to the wire for the top 2 as well as the top 6. Suddenly, they won't be so far out of sight of everyone else.
That said, I would take a draw on Saturday as we really are down to the kids now which has to catch up with us at some point.

Terry was a massive blow for us, plus kodjia being out again. There is just too many things not right again, and rumours are, there is unrest in the dressing room again.

When are Terry, Kodjia and Albert likely to be back?

If we miraculously get results against boro and Bristol city, then I might be swayed, but can't see it. We need 4 points from those two games, atleast. 3 is not the end of the world, but can't see it. Two draws will be the outcome, or one defeat and a draw.

Thanks VL, you could be missing all 3 of them for our game then! :)
More than likely, yes. you shouldn't worry about playing us anyway. The crowd have turned again, so its back to being nervous playing at home again.

You say that, but only Wolves, yourselves, and Sheffield Utd have scored more than us.

But yeah defensively we’ve been ridiculous lately. 5 clean sheets in a row, 7 in our last 8.

Unbeaten away from home since you thrashed us. Hopefully we keep that run going on Saturday when we go to Ipswich, but I fear they’ll do us again.

I see a wolves player is being investigated for match fixing in Portugal for past events. Blatantly been doing it over here. Get deducting points EFL.

Roderick Miranda? Only seen a few rumours on internet forums about that, not seen anything substantial yet.

Cardiff having a blip which was always coming at some point as I said a few weeks ago only for the Cardiff fan on here to say he couldn't see it happening. Bristol city will have one too and derby, I'm hoping we've had our main one but will judge on that after the next couple.

that's why we had one at a great time, feel for one team that will have it towards the end

Cardiff will still get results as they don't look like conceding many but if they come up against another dogged side such as Preston or a particularly attacking side such as Fulham I think they look exposed.

Horrible to watch but fair play for them doing as well as they are. They did a job on us but I'm hoping teams will give them a better game second time round and they'll drop away.
