That's a bloody great promotion, £2 a ticket is fantastic from your chairman.
Just hope some of them stay on for the next game.
If SISU offered that price we would still not get over 15000 , they have pissed off too many people.

Most of us down here couldn't fit in 15,000 in the first place!

If we charged that I'd still leave Blundell Park feeling ripped off with the shite we serve up.

Yep. Every team goes through a blip at some point in the season. I'm hopeful we can end it. To be honest, once we get spanked out of the FA Cup we'll probably be better. Starting to think its a big distraction

True, but the chasing pack have been slowly catching you since around Christmas - the last 6 games has Luton, Accrington, Wycombe, Exeter, Coventry all on 12 points from the last 6 games, us on 14 and you on 7.

Not that we could exactly decide on what options we had, but it's why i'm pleased we got knocked out of the FA cup when we did

But that’s what I’m saying. This is our blip. It’s hownwe respond to it now that matters. Either we are smart and go back to playing what got us where we are. Or we continue to think we are league twos Arsenal prattling about with it it at the back ad playing one up front

I really hope Notts get out of this mini rut they're in and go on to promotion, just to make Impish look an even bigger c*** than normal.

Big few games coming up now starting with Cambridge at home on Tuesday, a game we really should be looking to win but not one I feel particularly confident about due to distraction of the game at MK on Saturday. After that it's away at Forest Green, who seem to have signed a brand new squad over the past two weeks. Away games vs. bottom half sides have been our undoing so far this season so I'm sure that'll be a big test. Then it's Accrington (h), Colchester (a), Luton (h) and Mansfield (a). Really need to be taking at least 6 points there if we're to stand any chance of autos. Our record against top sides is pretty decent, but Accrington and Mansfield are the two we've lost against. We tonked Luton at their place, but I'm sure it'll be a very different scoreline this time.

Is it a 'mini' rut though? They've picked up 26 points from the last 19 league games, that's almost half a season with an average points return. They had such an insane start to the season that's given them enough of a buffer to see them through until now but the pack has gradually caught up. They'll make the play-offs but would have to do better than the last 19 games to have a chance of the top three.

So did Swindon but the reverse fixture was a very different game. I'm sure our game at yours is the day of the 5th round of the cup so if you win the 4th round game then the game gets moved. Would like see you to beat the plastic ones but at the same time I'd prefer a Saturday game rather than a midweek. More chance of a big following from us which would help our cause.
We have some very difficult games coming up apart from Coventry away. Wycombe and Exeter within a week but fortunately at home. That said every game is a key one at the moment. Any dip in form could bring us back into the pack. I think we've seen from previous seasons that one or two teams can put a terrific run of results together towards the end of the season. We need to make sure we maintain or increase the points gap in the next month or so.

Hadn't really looked into it properly I just noticed they'd had a few bad results recently.

We over performed massively at the start of the season. Most imagined we’d be poking about in the Carlisle mid table thread now.

The two loans from F***** was a big part of that, as we know Yates has gone to Scunny (still not played as far as I know) and, currently we have yet to replace him having brought in 3 midfielders.

AH always said we would see where we were once we got to 50 points and if we were in with a chance we’d spend in the window to sustain that. We haven’t yet with Hardy saying our 3 targets are all waiting until the end of the window, obviously wanting to get the best deal. I think we may be battling it out with Mansfield for one of them.

Add to that and our manager has decided to change the formation, IMO trying to force all 3 new midfielders in. It’s not working although one of those got sent off against Crawley so I hope he has to go back to 4-4-2.

The window is pivitol to our season, a striker and a central defender anything less and we will be looking to clinging on to the play offs.

Today would be a huge win if we got it today. We'd go nine points clear of Notts County currently in second, or 8 points ahead of Accrington who have a game in hand on us (if they win too) and be the first club to hit 60 points. With only 17 games left. And effectively have an extra point because of the GD. A big advantage at this stage of the season.

Its still chaseable for those below, but they won't want the difference in points to go above the games to go.

Wycombe, Exeter and Coventry aren't playing in the League today, so our lead over those clubs would be even greater.

Results going our way at the moment, but they were at this time last weekend as well and all ended up turning around so bit early to get excited yet.

We've been crap since Christmas, but we've won 4 out of 6. Sums up this league I think as generally we are pretty shit this point of the season, but never get punished.

Two MAHUSIVE home games coming up this week v Wycombe on Tuesday and Exeter. If we can get Hylton back for the latter?

24 points needed from the last 17 games IMO to get there.

Luton should run away with it anyway, considering they have spent probably a million pounds more than any other club.

Massive, Massive win for us in injury time again.

Despite us giving away a piss poor goal away, afain, we pretty much dominated from start to finish.

Cracking atmosphere too!
