We are utter shite and should be relegated already but typical us, we will somehow manage to keep a spark of hope alive until the last game and get relegated in the 95th minute

Far from it.
Wimbledon have a managerial change and we have a tough set of fixtures remaining

Managerial change results at this level are a right hit and miss though. Harris has beem good, McKenna at Ipswich but I can't thing of any others that have really had the desired new manager boost.

Plus Gills 4 point gap is looking huge when the bottom 5 have only managed 4 points in 25 games between them.

Well we've appointed Mark Bowen as manager until the end of the season .It should've happened 2 months ago.I think it's too late too save us this season.Next three games Sheffield Wednesday,Charlton and Mk.I can't see us getting more than a point from that lot.

I'm disappointed in Morecambe, thought Adams would get more of a tune out of them. That 5-0 against Shrewsbury looks to have killed off any hope that they had previously.

Big wins today for Fleetwood and Morecambe. Damaging last minute defeats for Wimbledon & Gillingham. These are the remaining games, who's going down?

You have to say - Crewe & Donny have shown absolutely no fight (there was a very brief fight from Donny) and are surely down? Wimbledon seem to carry on dropping, will they pick up under Bowen? Morecambe and Gillingham both have very tough run ins.

Results tonight:
AFC Wimbledon 1-1 Charlton Athletic
Fleetwood Town 1-1 Lincoln City
Morecambe 2-1 Oxford United

Another massive result for Morecambe today. They concede early, score 2 goals and see it out. Wimbledon play against 10 men for 30+ minutes and still can't win. The result pulls Morecambe out of the drop zone. Crewe and Donny 13 and 8 points adrift with just 15 to play for.

Gillingham and Morecambe with the toughest run in still.... some massive games to come, Crewe vs Wimbledon, Gillingham vs Fleetwood, Fleetwood vs Wimbledon ...

I reckon it’s 1 from 3. Sorry Wombles but I can’t see you winning two or three after the run of results you’ve had.

I think Fleetwood will get out of it so either Morecambe or Gillingham. I’ll go for Gillingham to stay up as Harris seems to have got them tightened up and picking up regular points.

Agreed. Accrington dreadful away from home, Oxford in a wobble. Then 2 games against teams around them. Looking at it, Crewe & Donny are surely down, even if they are playing each other on Saturday. Wimbledon have the easier run in compared to teams around them - but haven't won in years. Morecambe have goals about them, but seem to concede a lot. Gillingham seem very organised, but don't score many. Fleetwood will have a massive say in who ends up relegated! Will be an interesting end to season, just pleased we didn't lose to Fleetwood to lessen that gap!

We’ve been down for months, I really can’t wait for this shit show of a season to be over, the board have made a monumental cock up over the last 2 seasons and need to do a massive overhaul once again in the summer to stop us falling through league 2.

Do you think Knoyle will stay or likely to be moved on to get him off the wage bill?

The wage bill won’t be an issue, according to the powers that be we will have more funds next season than this, I do reckon certain players won’t want to play in League two and if we can sell them on so much the better. We need to bring in new players with a winning mentality and strength of character. Wether Knoyle will be allowed to leave or not I’m not sure but given our gd is nearly -50 I’ve no wish to keep any of our defenders

Think it’s between us and Fleetwood now for that final relegation spot, and we play each other on Monday. Wimbledon can’t buy a win and Morecambe seem to finally realised how to play football again.

Huge game, should be a decent crowd too.

I think we've been shown how to win again. It's not over yet though. We have Pompey at home, Monday then MK plugs away and Sunderland at home now. I think we need to beat Portsmouth to be breathing easy. Should be a full house for us. Hope we don't freeze.

Some big games coming up, here's the run in for all those down at the bottom...

Morecambe seem to have put a few wins together, however they have a horrendous run in. Assuming Donny could be relegated on Monday?

What has happened with Fleetwood? No sarcasm or sneering, I’m genuinely interested, I thought they were one of the better financed clubs at this level. Has Pilley pulled back his funding of the club?

They’re under an embargo (not sure why) same as us.

Ah yeah, thanks for that, I remember now.

They played the kids most recently v us, as they were decimated by injuries, their kids put up a damn good show considering their inexperience, but ultimately weren’t wily enough to get a result.

Bit more here for anyone interested.

You've got enough in you to stay up based on today. Lots of shithousery which is rubbish when it's against your team but we'd be doing the exact same in your situation.

Your fans were some of the best we've seen all season and your team was well up for it. I think you'll survive personally if you play like that for 3 more games.

Morecambe are in no way out of it yet, would be no surprise if they didn't get another point from those last three. Christ that Gillingham Fleetwood game is huge.

Love as a neutral how a number of the key games interlock with the play-off/promotion battle. For example, Fleetwood's game in hand is against Sheff Wed. That will be massive for both teams.

They've had a lot of injuries. Plus with the greatest respect to him, Stephen Crainey hardly strikes me as the sharpest tool in the box either and when considering the amount of red cards they've had, I doubt he has much control over the dressing room. It would be a huge embarrassment if a club with the squad they have go down, it's easily a mid table one on paper.

2 games to go. Lincoln are now safe so taken out of the list.

Current safety is 40 points. Donny are 6 points adrift with a much worse goal difference. They will be down on Saturday but not mathematically relegated.

Wimbledon have the 'easiest run in', but cannot win. When did they last win? Fleetwood have a game in hand. That game at home to Wimbledon on Saturday is massive. Wimbledon lose and they're down. 2 VERY tough games for both Gillingham and Morecambe. Will they pick up another point? All to play for, just pleased we are not involved!

AFCW played well today, they scrapped and spoiled like you’d want to see from a relegation-threatened side.

Their lack of wins speaks for itself as the reason why they are where they are, but they’ve got a chance based on what I saw from them.

Fleetwood v AFC looks like a brown-trousers classic, in my experience relegation six-pointers have a horrible tendency to end in a draw though.

Wimbledon have a chance purely based on the difficulty of those two fixtures they have left compared to Gillingham, Morecambe and Fleetwood when considering their game in hand is against Sheff Wed.
