Will be interesting to see how our players react on Saturday...after Troy introduced them to the front of a bus following the draw at Salford...apparently his post match interview has had 5.5m views!

Crewe fans all said they had no chance and turned us over so I’m not falling for this again!

That was our fault for not finishing!

We’re more clinical away, hopefully the pattern continues, hopefully i don’t drink too much gin on friday as there for 3 friday, this no beer or cider lark is boring as fuck already

Looking forward to Saturday, could be anything, got to be a reaction to Grimsby’s last home result, god knows how we’ll react to the head coach situation. Hopefully a rest will have done us good.

No doubt an emotional atmosphere pre kick off given the awful accident at the weekend.
I'd like both new signings to start, neither knew Williams and it's a fresh start. We're well placed halfway through a season, it's not the time to be navel gazing about Luke Williams and what might have been.
Away form has been terrible so a new keeper and some cover / energy in the middle is what we've been needing.

I've got a feeling we're in for a good match on Saturday. Lots of attacking end to end football and some comical defending. 3-3.

I've seen Town v FGR twice. Each time we've been second best. I'm hoping for a different result this time, but not holding my breath.

3-3....Like 1993 all over again. Except not in League One, no Clive Mendonca, no Mark Draper, no legendary manager involved and no snowballs thrown from the away end.

Was at that game back then in early 1993 but won't be in 2024.

Expect it will be.
Fewer than 400 home tickets left. Tickets sold will already be 8k, hopefully not too many ST no shows and we could be near to that in the ground standing for the minutes silence.

No chance at Wrexham without Ali and Bugiel. I don't usually bet against us but I have this week. Backed Wrexham at 10/11.

It’s a minutes applause mate not a silence.
My Son burned himself really badly at the weekend and at the minute he can barely move whilst it’s healing and it’s got infected too but he said he’s still going to the game so he can join in the minutes applause for Cam and his Dad, he said there’s no way he’s missing it.

Every chance you will beat us! You have Belly in goal permanently too, what a keeper! We now have an overweight miserable bigger in goal who is on 4.5k a week apparently and is not fit to lace Belly’s boots!

Home to Milton Keynes. We'll definitely be without Harvey Saunders, who'll be missed for his pace in a team of snails, while doubts about Lee O'Connor, thought to have broken a toe at Barrow, but the latest suggestion is an outside chance he'll be fit for this one. Waiting to see if the suggestions of Rob Apter returning on loan are confirmed.

Nigel Adkins is serving a 1 game touchline ban and will definitely be missed, especially in a game where emotions are likely to be running high as the first match after former chairman Peter Johnson's passing. Along with Bury fans trampling all over Prenton Park after we dropped out of the league, one of my worst experiences supporting Rovers was the gutless 1-2 defeat under Brabin just after legendary manager Johnny King had died. Nigel as a local lad and fan will get what it means and where he on the touchline, I'd be confident of no repetition.

No predictions until we know if Apter back.

Good lad.

Hope it heals quickly for him.

Pete Wild has picked up a 2 game touchline ban, so will be missing from the bench at Sutton and the following week at home to Crewe. 3rd Ban of the season for (rightly) questioning inept officials - but we've lost the other 2 matches he's missed - so lump on Sutton tomorrow.

Last time you played us at home (final home match of the season, "festival of football", largest home crowd of the season by a long way, with our lot exceptionally in all four stands) you walloped us, and we didn't turn up at all. I suspect that we will at least try to turn up tomorrow, but otherwise...I'd not be overly surprised by a repeat of that game

It's from the same incident, he got a card from the Accrington game which resulted in a touchline ban at your spot but it's since been upgraded for another two games.

Got a feeling MK will turn us over, especially with all the optimism over Apter extending the loan. We're also short up front.

Fear you could be right. I'm pinning my hopes on the curse of Williamson's Manager of the Month award,

I have a feeling it might be sixth time lucky for Troy today, after three draws and two defeats, surely he has to get a win eventually...doesn't he?

In his press conference Lindsey states we have only one member of the squad out injured (Ben Gladwin). I thought I'd mention it for the benefit of Stockport fans. :fish:

It will be interesting how we line up today.

Well jealous.

I'm hoping Walsall will agree to a game of 7-a-side
