What are you talking about - the away end is luxury compared to the Main Stand down the side to your right.

like I said if owt ignited I’d be dead now, we condemned that stand for a reason.

We might as well change our name to Carlisle Nil.

Yet again the glaring lack of quality in our team so apparent. It was obvious after 5 minutes that we weren’t going to score. We won’t score on Tuesday either, or next Saturday at Barrow. We have become such a dull uninspiring team. It’s actually a chore to watch us.

Thankfully Salford’s surprise defeat keeps our playoff hopes in tact.

Now we have to try something different. Even if we scrape into the playoffs like this, without changing something we’re just going to stink the playoffs out with our Carlisle Nil football and go out with a whimper.

Sadly a rochdale mark II, not winning a game we should’ve won at a canter.

It’s too predictable Mansfield, take a deserved lead and find a way to fuck it up, can’t hold on to the lead, produce set pieces which are hopeless and bring on subs way too late.

As it was grimsby couldn’t legitimately argued they deserved a win at mansfield a month ago, so it is what it is.

Poor yet again from clough

Massive win, wasn't pretty, wasn't deserved but we'll take it.

Started the game on a positive note, free kick into the box, Piergianni won the first ball, across the face of goal for the arriving Jordan Roberts to poke home and give us the lead. Wimbledon replied within 10 minutes, Janneh picked out Al Hamadi, defensively we didn't do enough, Smith sort of shepherded Al Hamadi across the face of the defence and he hooked his shot into the bottom corner passed TLT to make it 1-1.

After that, pretty much until we scored in the second half, Wimbledon controlled the game, they hit the woodwork with an effort, shortly followed by an effort that fizzed wide from range. Whilst they didn't create too much more than that, they didn't give us a sniff. We couldn't get into the game, they even limited the amount of set pieces we got which further impacted our ability to threaten.

Fortunately we got a massive slice of luck to make it 2-1 on the hour mark. The pattern of aimless long ball football continued but the young Wimbledon full back miscued his header back to the keeper and Jamie Reid was able to nip in and dink it over the keeper to give us the lead and ultimately the win.

After that we played a little better before sitting back for the last 5-10 minutes of the match up, we saw it out relatively comfortably for the most part but gave away a huge chance in stoppage time, a long throw into the box evaded everyone and dropped at the feet of Al Hamadi five yards out, it looked like for all the world that it was going to be an equaliser but it somehow went wide of the post.

We'll take the points and run after that, going to have perform far, far better than that if we want to be promoted.

We never looked like scoring a second so a Rochdale being generous hosts have helped us out.
Never a 3-0 game. 1-0 at most. We were awful going forward, and our subs were completely wrong too. That’s us down.

Good point for us. Gillingham were everything you'd expect, dogged defensively, time wasting, ugly football etc. Typical South East team. When they get a goal up it was always going to be difficult for us get anything so a point was welcome in the end.

It seems we were playing for a point at the end, a bit odd considering results were going our way.

I thought it was grimmer oop north.

A bit of a strange assessment as we matched you, scored a good goal and conceded late. We were also without Hawkins so had no target man and played the ball on the deck more than usual. Not sure how that makes it ugly football but we all see things differently. You obviously see yourselves as Stockportelona

You should have beaten us at your place but it was pretty even today. Saying it was a good point for you would normally suggest you felt the same.

Surprised at how comfortable a win that was! especially with the run of form pools were in, you just knew Bogle would score and another goal against pools for Micky Demetriou, but whats most important is any lingering doubts about relegation have now disappeared, talking of relegation stand by for the veggie invasion now fgr are back down here, so we have our local derby back.

Looks like we're going to fizzle out. 6 blanks in our last 7.

At least we drew the 2nd half I guess.

Beaten by the better team and the team who will probably be the official best team in the league at seasons end.

We asserted some pressure at the start of the second half, however aside from a shot from Bugiel and a header that slightly grazed the top of the crossbar from Angol, Orient were more than comfortable.

Amazing how all the optimism has evaporated, one bad game and results go against us, on the brink again. Askey really fucked it today, 4 at the back doesn't work for us and if you play that why isn't McDonald starting? Sylla and Featherstone in the same midfield doesn't work either. Murray out for the season to cap it all off. He didn't change it at half time as well which left me stratching head. Awful day at the office, couldn't really have been any worse.

Think we got a bit too confident and expected Newport to roll over.

Fail to beat Salford and Crawley win then we are fucked.

Orient looked good today though we’re far off our best and we can’t afford to be missing the players we are against the better teams. They did all the dirty stuff and have a threat in Smith. We were all over the place first half. Probably played the league’s best 3 currently in last 3 and we’ve been lucky not to get properly smashed at all.

We was worthy winners in the end, should've scored more than the two wonder strikes we did get, but I was more happy we saw the second half out for the win more than anything.

Second half Sutton put us under pressure, we got a little bit casual as well, but in the main we was comfortable, don't remember Vigs making a save.

A few early celebrations at the end, good interview from Wellens at the end to keep the players focused for Tuesday and next Saturday where we still have some work to do to finish things off properly.

A few media outlets reporting we was up, we're not, we need one point - we can still be caught on goal difference which is why it isn't rubber stamped.

Still, fucking get in. :woo:

Who could have predicted we would fizzle out as soon as we had to start playing against the decent teams.

We've been a bit lazy at times this season, I wouldn't be shocked if we lost a few games to opponents still with something to play for...................

More like a 4-0 mate. That was as comfortable as it could have been for us today. Maybe the way we started and the early goal deflated you, but I was honestly expecting a bigger fight from you. Looks like you are going down with a whimper.

I actually hope you win your last 4 games and somehow stay up, be sad to lose another traditonal Lancashire club from the league.

Good luck for the rest of the season, but I have a feeling that sadly today will be my last ever visit to Spotland

Lol ok.

Thought it was a good game with lots of nice passages of play, didn’t particularly notice any time wasting or ugly football. I did notice two penalty shouts being turned down by an awful official, and a perfectly good goal for us being ruled out at the end. We took the game to you but this time you got lucky late on with a nice strike.

Bradford and Mansfield remain the best teams I’ve seen this season, you guys are very similar to Carlisle so about where you should be.

Not really. I’d rather be wrong.

Plus It doesn’t take a fucking genius to look at our track record against the top end teams and foresee what was coming. I’m sure I’m not the only one who expected this.

I just hope Simpson changes it up and tries something different on Tuesday. The playoffs are still there for us, but they won’t be if we carry on like this.

Keep the faith, young Padawan. There's still (at least) 4 games to play.

Reacted with laughing as we 1. Have absolutely no chance of staying up. And 2. That you think you were 3/4 goals better than us. Yes we were very poor but you weren’t that much better than us in all honesty. You were nowhere near a second until we scored for you and your third was a lucky deflection.

It will probably be your last visit yes, I can’t see us bouncing back anytime soon. What a sad state of affairs, which could so easily have been avoided. Kudos to our board for fighting off the hostile takeover, but their poor decisions have cost us dearly.

We hit the bar in the first half, one cleared off the line very well by Henderson, and what looked like a penalty from where I was stood when Cook was hauled down. Although we weren't at our best it was very comfortable, which as I said, surprised me given you were supposed to be fighting for your lives.

Great hospitality by the way at the Rochdale Sports Club and one of my favourite away days

What is it with Harrogate, we can't start to play until we have gone 2:0 down in the first half. Now it's three matches in a row. Donny were all over us in the first half, I wish we had their number 7. 2 points dropped in a must win match.
Fortunately, Bradford and Newport did us a massive favour.
