I'll worry about this after the FA Cup game this weekend.

Salford at home. Ugh. Can't stand their manager. Battered them at home, scoring 3, missing an open net and hitting the post twice and he said we didn't cause them any problems.

They've had a poor season and that keeps me a little warm at night. 2-1 City. Hope Walker crunches that ex-Leeds twat Smith.

Don't know anything about Walsall this season so don't know whether their style benefits us or will likely cause us problems.

But we are at home and they aren't above us so you would hope for another home win with both teams scoring.

FA Cup action to concentrate on first for the Non League Pep and the boys.

Got to love Walker haven’t you, proper prick on the field and a quiet and unassuming lad off it. Perfect combination.

Usually tight affairs against Salford.

I haven’t looked at the league table in a few week, but had a quick check last night and was surprised to see Salford below us?

Ash Taylor is suspended. Paves the way for a trio of CB’s the fans have been crying out for since the beginning of the season.

All of a sudden, we look an ok side. Relatively strong defensively and scoring goals for fun.

GK: Harry Lewis

CB: Matty Platt
CB: Sam Stubbs
CB: Cieran Kelly

RWB: Brad Halliday
LWB: Lewis Richards

CM: Ritchie Smallwood
CM: Alex Gilliead

AM: Jamie Walker

ST: Andy Cook
ST: Tyler Smith

Alexander is trying to arrange a friendly for Saturday, given we’re out of the FA Cup. We’re starting to get a few bodies back from injury, so there’s a few who need minutes.

Only team that’s picked up more points than MK Dons in last five games may surprise everyone due to the under the radar nature but it’s Barrow.

Going to be a tough one against another much improved side with a new manager; I’m just hoping this 10 day break does us a lot of good because quite a few players looked shattered Tuesday.

Nothing against Grimsby as a club, in fact in posts on other threads I've praised them for being a good club, but if ever I've wanted to thrash someone this season it's Grimsby on Saturday.

For sitting through 15 defeats in 16, a club record run of 8 consecutive home defeats, playing 18 different players at wing back, refusing to see our two shit keepers were a huge problem for years, for signing the likes of Terrell Thomas, Callum MacFadzean and Bassala Sambou and for not even having the courtesy to speak to his assistants and mess them around in the last few months of his reign, two of which are still at the club as manager and first team coach, I'd love nothing more than for Bell to get the lads to put 5 or 6 past Artell's Grimsby on the day he's unveiled at his new home.

Of course, I want Grimsby to do well after Saturday (bar when they come to Gresty Road), and I don't think we're capable of thrashing teams unless they're Forest Green, which is the only thing we could and should improve on, but Grimsby has often been a happy hunting ground for us (last season apart) so I reckon we're going to get a big win to keep our challenge alive.

Hopefully the postponement on Saturday has reinvigorated the lads playing with knocks (CBR, White, Rowe), has allowed Nevitt to recover and we may well see Long and Tabiner in the matchday squad after a sustained absence. That immediately improves us as we're only left with Williams and Powell missing out of the regulars. And Williams will hopefully be back some time in January.

Given my most hated Crewe player of all time signed for Grimsby a few years back and scored against us when he got his chance to get one over on us (Harry Davis), I'll also be fuming if my most frustrating Crewe player of all time (Callum Ainley, joint with Byron Moore) scores past us on Saturday despite once going nearly 2 years without scoring a league goal for us. Hopefully, that doesn't happen.

Grimsby 0-2 Crewe I'm going for.

Over 3000 sold for next Saturday already, hospitality sold out too. Could be close to a sell out at this rate. Decent numbers (for us) given how 'well' this season is going.

Coming down for this one, never been, where's best to park? I've read the school but the price is a little steep, and the hill i've heard so many times its a killer to walk up to.

Park at the bottom of the hill and use your bus pass by hopping on the no.63 stagecoach bus.

I have a feeling our record at home to Walsall is bloody awful. Remember being 5-0 down after about an hour a few years ago, Romaine Sawyers tore us a new one.

Would have thought we’d have enough this time around, but with the jokers in our defence who knows.

I do like him but I want Lee Bell to rightly get one over him before I wish him all the best for the season after how Bell was treated by Artell towards the end of his reign. Certainly will hope he does well with you though after Saturday, which is a lot more complimentary of me given I wanted Steve Davis to crash and burn when he managed Orient.

Everyone gets a bumper crowd when they play Wrexham. It's the law.

I'm on the open terrace for this, praying for dry weather.

Be shocked if it's not hundreds of you in the home ends, attendances have fallen through the floor for some reason not unadjacent to being shit for ages.

We haven’t gained a single point away at Accrington since they came back into the League. This is the third time we’ve played them this season and basically got two draws in normal time. I expect the usual outcome on Saturday but no point going on about our game after this post as there aren’t any Stanley fans on here

During heavy rain most our fans once ended up running into the home stand when we played them. Dale Vince wanted the authorities to serve us all with banning orders because of it!
