I think it was just a joke mate. Teams with a pulse will follow for Notts at some point though.

A joke? No way!! :ffs:

Although I must admit I have no idea what your second sentence means, I'll put it down to being a long day at work

The disrespect shown by a section of the new Wrexham fanbase do themselves no favours. Surprising as it's been such a long time since they operated at this elevated level, you'd think they would happy.

Would be more than happy with a point against a side we have a simply appalling record against. At least they won't have Dele Ali this time.

New Wrexham fanbase? Do you mean me? I wish I was new.

It was a joke based on some 'sweet bantz' on the other site over the last few seasons.

He wouldn’t know, he disappeared without trace when Notts were relegated and then miraculously resurfaced when they got back to the football league.

Wrexham fans, what's the drill for a pre match print without having to drink in town or on a retail park, just a couple of us with a couple of kids? Thanks.

You have got a decent choice, you have the Maesgwyn next door to the petrol station opposite the ground, who do amazing food. Plas Coch is the nearest pub from the ground and family friendly, but this is on the retail park, next to the ground.

Town is only a 10 minute walk from the ground. Plenty of choice there.

Ironworks on town hill is apparantly the designated away pub, but its the other end of town in fairness, and a free council car park is round the corner (free after 11).

I always thought the Plas Coch was the designated away pub.

I'd walk the 10 minutes or so into town, plenty of places to go in which will be quieter than the places nearer the ground. I always go towards the Nags Head or Fat Boar pre and post match.

If I were to go town before the game, i'd head that way as well. A bouncer in town told me the away pub is Ironworks from this season. Strange!

Most pubs are away fan friendly, including the turf, but you have to be bloody quick to get in there as it fills up quickly.

Fucking ave it!! :woot:

Finishing work at 2AM now Saturday morning as there was no way I was risking driving on hardly any sleep with my lad in the car.

Can’t wait let’s pluck those fucking chickens. :bg:

I asked the girl in the ticket office and we’ve sold 1691 which I personally think is brilliant given the early Sky k/o.

Bring your boots, half a chance you could be starting for us upfront.

Apparently Fish has a bit of pace so I've just stuck a tenner on a Grimsby win with him to score first.

Odd one, that.

Why would you?

Nags Head was very friendly and that was for me wearing colours after we'd just beaten them in a playoff semi, would definitely recommend for a family on away days if that visit was anything to go by.

He couldn’t bear the #stain on non league apparently.

Totally, only thing worse than the club having to play at that level for the first time#stain

Turns out you win loads more games, you score loads of goals, your crowds go up and up, you reach the playoffs every season you are there, you lose some playoffs (3) you win some playoffs (well 1) and looking back it was actually pretty darn good. Certainly done wonders for the club which I would never have ever imagined when he finally got relegated.

You should have told me?

Nought pounds is some very competitive pricing. Nice one Bantams, spreading the love not just with the season tickets.
According to Bradford fans they are that shit that people should be paid to go and watch them. We will still lose to them tomorrow though

The only time I’ve been known to run fast is when the ice cream van went straight past my house without stopping.
There is an ice cream van that visits the area where I live...it plays the "Pompey Chimes"...no chance I am buying anything from it. Mind you, I think the lady who drives it was sick recently and the replacement played "The Grand old Duke of York"...keep your kids inside!

That team is just as appaling as expected. Only positive is there's a start for academy graduate Bobby Pointon who's impressed in his cameos so far.

Think I might give Bradford v Grimsby a watch.

I'm impressed that Bradford are still pulling in 17k-18k crowds, obviously it's a really big place but I can't even remember the last time they were above L1 level.

Everyone tuning into the 12:30 kick off expecting Derby v Northampton will be thoroughly disappointed to see it replaced by Bradford v Grimsby…

Bradford look much like they did against us a couple of weeks ago. No options in midfield, aimless punts up the pitch, letting the opposition dominate the ball in a home game. Don't see a promotion chaser, even though it's still early.
