Fascinating game in prospect, Scunny without a win in 6, Fleetwood unbeaten in 17. Alexander did a good job at Highbury although the football was dire and built on his strengths when he played as a defender
How will he approach this ? worst time of the season to go into a bad run and form dropping. Rosler has the opposite problem, confidence sky high, 3 clean sheets in the last 4 matches and the team playing some very good football.
Sooner or later Fleetwood will lose, but not this Saturday 2-0 to the Cods

Could be a real pivotal point for both teams this one.

Fleetwood have done exceptionally well as have Scunthorpe, we must be one of the last teams to beat Fleetwood (somewhat fortunately)!

Fleetwood win this and they are in a great position to try and do a Burton.

Scunthorpe seem to be having problems with the pressure and in fairness weve played without any but there is some now.

At Fleetwood Alexander killed us with rampant pragmatism and it was felt he was poor under pressure, but a nice guy. Rosler is definitely prickly and arrogant, and he will stir the shit in the technical area, no doubt about it. I can see fireworks on the sidelines if not the pitch.

I think Alexander will play for a draw, and as we would be pretty happy with that then my guess is it probably will be, 1-1.

Fleetwood are 17 games unbeaten v Scunthorpe who haven't won in 6. The Scunthorpe chairman is saying don't panic. It's got to be a Fleetwood win, hasn't it?

We just don't know what the hell is going to happen.

GA does seem to struggle when the ressure is on. The run-in last season saw us playing relaxed and brilliant football, and we were unlucky to lose out on the play-offs on goal difference. We then started this season in the same vein, and looked as if we would coast the division.

What has happened since mid Jan is nothing short of unbelievable. We suddenly lost all impetus. Instead of passing forward we started passing sideways and backwards. We got a couple of lucky wins, and then we started to play even more conservatively. I don't think we were playing for draws but we were very negative. The last 6 games have seen us have only 6 or 7 shots on target IN TOTAL. We were averaging well over 2 goals a game until the new year!!

I really hope we get back on the winning track, but I wouldn't be surprised to see us lose again. This probaby means it will be a draw.....

I just can't see us getting anything today. We've looked so poor for the last month or so, we look so out of ideas in every single area. Morris and Holmes have been utter shite for the past month which I think has played a big part in our downfall, they seem to drift far too central meaning we have absolutely no width. Alexander doesn't seem to know his best strikeforce. I'll give him an idea, it 100% doesn't include Craig Davies. This is gonna be a tough one.

Absolutely shocking.

We dominated this game yet never looked like scoring. Fleetwood didn't threaten really but they didn't need too, we gave them the two chances they needed. Pathetic tactics from Alexander, the lack of width is stupid and is costing us.

They were exactly the same when they played us at Bramall Lane. We had loads of attacks and loads of corners BUT failed to create 1 clear cut chance as they packed out their defense. They only had about 5 attacks all match but created 3 clear cut chances, scoring 2 of them.

Left the match thinking that Rosler bloke knows his tactics and they deserved their win.

Another great win. Thanks to this Scunthorpe fan complaining about me being a racist? I'm the most equal person ever! Even though I know it was just because you was losing it was funny. Missed my half time pint because of it. Think I knew who it was and seemed to shake hands at the end. Oh and Fleetwood looking good for automatic promotion :)

Scunthorpe had all the ball but we are well drilled and everything Alexander tried Rosler had a solution.

We rarely dominate games but know how to win, its a cliche but German efficiency has been brough to Fleetwood.

Turns out our goal that was "offside" was miles onside, we're really not getting much luck lately.

Just seen the dissallowed Scunthorpe goal and it was a ridiculous decision, really unlucky. We where level with it and I didnt think it was off at the time, you just think you missed something. Definetely got a big break there. Hes about 2 yards on.

Just one of those things that happens unfortunately, we've had our luck this season and we're now having our bad luck. Fair play to Fleetwood today, they defended magnificently and were clinical on the counter.

Yeah second and automatic promotion place, its kind of unreal but the facts speak for themselves 4 successive wins, another clean sheet. The trick is to enjoy this as much as possible because it will never ever happen again. More than anything mate everybody is talking about Fleetwood and that makes me very proud. Now whats round the corner.....................
