Our away support was apparently really good in the 80s, especially compared to our home support. Home numbers massively tailed off for obvious reasons but it was just mobs of lads going to aways every other and playing up all over the country supposedly.

I think there are goals to be had against the big lad in goal. I saw him play for Wycombe last season and he seemed your average clumsy League Two'er. I was most surprised to see him at SU this.

Every long range shot goes in, he's made various mistakes but got away with them cos we've won.

Lots of people have said the same, I've seen a bit of him and thought he's alright in honestly. Us and Blades don't have top quality keepers, most top half teams do. Having said that, I don't think I'd change Fielding as we're good at the back and he's keeping clean sheets. We need a CM though, Bannan please given you don't rate him.

He's fine when played in the correct position, it's just when he's told (or chooses) to drop right back and take the ball basically off our centre halves toes, that he's completely wasted.

Reesh I think, pretty sure he said he'd be happy to get rid of him in the summer or something like that. I think Bannan's quality, his passing is second to none at this level. Lee Johnson said in a Q&A on social media a couple of months back i'd be could sign any player in the division it'd be him or Daniel Johnson.

Fleck looked about 10x better than him in the derby in similar roles, never seems to look owt special each time I've seen him on the tv, passes that don't gain owt and balls forward that can be defended quite easily. Doesn' seem to be getting strikers in with killer balls forward or firing goals in from midfield

A lot of that is probably down to their manager. 15/16 when they were playing attractive, attacking football he was outstanding for them.

I've never been overly keen on him but how can I knock , he scored 50 goals in the last 2 years in league one and has 9 this year i think.

Just about to leave for the match.

For the first time this season I’m really unsure what the score will be.
We could win but we could easily lose.

Since losing Paul Coutts (broken leg and out for the season) we’ve not won a game. Coutts wasn’t exactly fantastic but he was like glue that struck the midfield together. Coutts would stand on the penalty spot most of the game and make himself available, instant touch control and an excellent passer, kept it simple and never gave the ball away. He often controlled the tempo of a game. So we’re still adjusting to this loss, his replacement Lundstrum started quite poor but thankfully seems to improving every game.

Even during our bad recent run we’ve still generally played decent though but conceded long shots or goals against the run of play.

I suppose by the law of averages we’re due a win. So I’ll go for 2-1 Blades win but I’m not confident.
