We've never yet beaten Chesterfield in either league 2 or 1 so Tuesday night is as good a time as any to break the duck. A really steady performance at the weekend sets us up nicely, and for all fans good to see young lads breaking into to the first team, aka Jack Sowerby who looks a good bet to start again .
Devante Cole has taken a lot of criticism ( me included ) but in fairness to the lad when he came on early in the 2nd half he changed the game against Posh with a superb change of pace to beat his man, whipping over a quality cross for Grant to score, also unlucky not to score himself with a cracking shot which hit the cross bar.
More of the same on Tuesday please 2-1 to the Cods

We're absolutely shite at the moment and likely to continue to be so until our injured full backs and Evans return.

There's going to be a piss poor and borderline disinterested home crowd waiting to turn on the board.

Always thought you were a decent side. There won't be much in the game
Cods have been playing well but not getting results. Dempsey and Ball are the ones to watch.

We usually have been decent when we've met in the past. We are getting worse by the week currently though.

We've fallen a very long way both on and off the pitch in the past 18 months. Away win and another sub 5000 crowd to put the cat amongst the pigeons in the boardroom hopefully

I'm pretty convinced this is going to be another bad result. Most of our players of quality and experience are on the physios table

Chesterfield really are a bogey side to us, often with a better team granted but always seem to have the edge.

About time we got something in this fixture but our away record is pretty poor, we always give our best no qualms there but usually need an opponent not to show up to get a win home or away in L1.

We're either desperate or Chedwyn was never injured at all (no issue with it being made up in the circumstances). Wilkinson being out does us no favours at all though.

Went on forever and hanging on for grim death as usual, for once survived it.

Great away win. Back to back wins and another very valuable 3 points :)

why do teams beat us these days and carry on like it was a good result for them? we're pants, i'd be fucking devastated if I came to chesterfield and didn't get all 3

We really are in trouble. The board, management and players all need to take a long hard look at themselves.

Worst thing is how many people are now staying away, we won't ever get some of these back. The whole enthusiasm and passion has been suck out of the whole fanbase which is even more worrying than how we are on the pitch.
