You know that O's shirt is bad when even 4 pints of bitter can't help to make it look any better.

And yeah I know, I can only drink up to 4 pints nowadays if I want to get back home safely in one piece if you know what I mean. IOW, i'm a lightweight drinker so please stop sniggering at the back. Ta.

Our club instagram has posted a couple of teasers, one with 5.7.19 and the other a picture of a zebra. Not going to get my hopes up too much that we're going back to black and white stripes, but does seem we'll possibly be going for a zebra stripe style pattern, even if it's green and black.

Seems a higher standard on L2 kits this season than last.

I'm sure the Clubs were all on a wind-up last summer.

Always the same for me. Quite like the home shirt then the away comes out and I go for that. Not had a home one since 2013.

I'm not a big fan of grey shirts in general but I like that new Swindon one. A better effort than the home one imo.

I'm not on a wind up Luke but I remember thinking wtf is that when I first saw a pic of the Lincoln home shirt, only to then change my mind when I started to see it from a different angle. The shirt designers were obviously going for a 90's look and I think they did do a good job in the end. I went from 'wtf' to 'that's one of the best shirt designs' in only 3 or 4 weeks time!

edit - re. the not so great Lincoln home shirts in recent memory, I think this one wins hands down. Truly awful imo.

I'm waiting on the official 'Vanni Rating' for our new one in the L1 kit section.

I went to a music festival in Finsbury park yesterday and I'm sure I saw 2 guys wearing quite old Lincoln City shirts. One was sponsored by Gulf Oil, and I can't remember the other one but they both looked like 90s vintage.

Haha. Yeah I did see it and it's a decent piece of kit, bearing in mind there's not a lot one can do with stripes. But if I were an Imps fan I'd try to get myself one without that crappy sponsor's logo ;)

That one above was for our first season in NL, so the downward chevrons were rather apt at the time!

Agree r.e. the sponsor on a striped shirt. Unfortunately they're either keep the stripes and struggle to see the sponsor or have the block there.

Never been sponsored by Gulf Oil that I can recall.

Oh crap, i was convinced it was Lincoln, but I have just looked through the historical kits and can't see it, or Exeter (which was my second option).

Now i'm not even sure it was Gulf, but i'm sure it was an oil company!

Sunderland, maybe? Trying to think who else plays in red and white stripes.

Not Sunderland or Southampton. I'm familiar with their badges, I'm sure this was a lower league side, hence why I thought it was Lincoln. Dammit!!
