Booked a weekend at Warsaw in mid-May.

Any good?

My opinion is that its pretty shit tbh if your going just for a piss up. But was freezing when i went and pissing it down which never helps the mood. I remember an english named boozer which was awful and a few tiny bars round a square which were shit too, bit dull in all honesty

I've heard good things about Warsaw, shocking weather can skew your opinion of anywhere really.

I've only been to Gdansk in Poland, though it was great and it was stupidly cheap.

Never even heard of Chisinau, there are loads of countries in Eastern Europe that I want to visit, only February and i'm already thinking of 2017 holidays.

Just Googled Katowice, looks a right shit hole. Chisinau looks pretty interesting, proper mix match of different architecture, can't say I know much about Moldova at all to be honest.

Katowice isn't that bad, should see chorzow. Only an hour from Krakow as well. Going to Poznan next month.

Has anyone been to Podgorica, and is it as bad as everyone makes out? Going there next week before getting the train to Belgrade. Also for said trip, any hostel recommendations in Budapest?

I stayed here - http://absolutcityhostel.com/en/

Nowhere near the nicest hostel i've stayed in, it's basic as fuck but it's spot on location wise, it's cheap and the owner and staff are very friendly.

Only downsides, is the ground floor when you walk in smells of bins  luckily the actual hostel is a level up but we did fear the worst when we first walked in. Also, there's a bar/ cafe place on the square outside some of the windows and they're proper noisy c*** when they're putting the chairs and tables out in the morning.

I'd go back there but we were pretty lazy when we booked our hostel so didn't really shop around.

Yes iv been and wont be going again. Theres literally 3 bars which are all wank and all shut early although that may of been due to the football and dont expect anything other to eat than fucking pizza. Very small place too

Not exactly a prime holiday destination or whatever, but anybody here ever been to Dallas, Texas?

Probably not. But I'm now going there to watch WRASSLIN', and while WRASSLIN' will take up a fair bit of my time there, I will have time to do other, non WRASSLIN' things as well. So what the fuck do they have there? I know they've got a lot of shit to do with Kennedy getting shot, but I couldn't really give a fuck about seeing all that.

Why not? It's much more interesting than wrestling.

Went to Crystal Palace Park on Friday and saw the dinosaurs. I had read about them but to see them in real life was quite something. Broadened my horizons, I don't mind telling you. A giant rat ran across the path right in front of me too.

How was Pas de la Cas? I'm headed there for the first time in a couple of weeks.....

Have a decent time?

We ended up booking a couple of days before we went last Saturday, got back on Sunday after a night out in Barca on the Saturday. Cheap n cheerful, those spirit measures in KYU bar are absolutely night wrecking. Definitely going to try somewhere different next year but I'm sure I'll be back in Pas for a cheap 'un someday.

I had a gussied up burger in a pub, served by a man with an abundant beard and a trucker cap. My companion had a quinoa and edamame salad. One of the starters on the menu (we did not have starters) was adorned with "omega sprinkles". The pub had bare wooden floors, deliberately mismatched furniture and each table was decorated with a single flower in an empty St Stefanus bottle. I paid £4.90 for a pint of something overhopped and my burger was £15. Bloody London!

My god I love Belgrade, yet another return has been booked. So happy Zvezda won again. Podgorica, as warned, was a dump. Not a fan of Budapest.

Anyway, myself and Joe. have now got Sarajevo at the end of April for their derby, with Belgrade either side. Longshot, but has anyone been to Sarajevo and able to give us any tips?

Boston, Massachusetts, is home to several major league sports teams, including the Boston Red Sox (baseball), Boston Celtics (basketball) and Boston Bruins (hockey). The New England Patriots (football) and New England Revolution (soccer) play at Gillette Stadium in nearby Foxborough.
