The worst game of football I've seen in a long time.
We looked left and off or game but having said that Oldham should have been dead and buried by half time but somehow stayed in the game.
Second half was a non-event so glad for the 3 points.

Thought Wigan looked pretty poor today. Conceded a stupid soft goal then we were always chasing the game, which atm is akin to a morbidly obese diabetic chasing a burger van.

To be fair in December we lost 3 points in games due to officials getting it wrong, so we were due one.

Not the prettiest of games, but a win is a win. Ten points out of twelve over Xmas is excellent. Thought we might be a bit ‘leggy’ after the travelling, but Adams kept the starting eleven all match. Felt we had just a bit more in the final third. Good goal where Lameiras beat three players, passed to Taylor who beat two more and then shot past the goalie.

Walsall’s best player was Ismail, who returns to Bury from his loan, will he be playing against us Saturday?

Ps if you get the chance see Carey’s goal against Blackpool on the 30th, it was a stunner.

We are far from brilliant. MK Dons were even worse. In reality we actually looked quite good (we aren't). That probably tells its own story... Mid-table mediocrity beckons.

Woohoo we actually won.

What pleased me today apart from the result was the spirit and organisation the team had. Moments of quality helped of course and Jon Obika was excellent, my man of the match. A definite improvement on the Wigan game!

A better opposition would have probably punished our early mistakes but MK Dons weren't that today. We also managed our obligatory goal conceded from a corner by not bothering to mark opposition players.

Decent day at the office for us as our away form continues to drag us along, only expecting us in the play offs so still good on that front. Couple of weeks off from the league now for a breather and hopefully get some of the horrendous injury list back on the pitch.

Lee Clark everybody. If anyone asks just how we've done so badly this season then it's because of decisions like this.

Dreadful gimme of an early goal and depressing first half performance where Wigan should have had a few more. Second half a much better performance where Wigan seemed to make hard work of it and we could have stolen a point. I know we all do it but time wasting after about 50 minutes isn't a performance expected by a team in their position? Are Wigan starting to get a bit twitchy and nervous about their lofty status?

I've seen that goal from Carey, absolutely fantastic strike.

Your form is certainly picking up.

They didn't need to against us. :conf:

How the heck we won that I really don't know. Blackpool were much the better team without really doing much mind. Terrible game between two not very good teams...

I'm told we sit three points off the play-offs too. By our performances and inconsistency, the feeling around the club is one that ought to be sitting towards the bottom half of the table. Strange ol' time. :dk:

Our first win in 11 games and we're 1 point off the play-offs.

What the fuck have the rest of you been doing in that time?
