You definitely can't blame the ref for not winning that game!

“The referee has cost us that game,” McCann stated. “It was a definite penalty when Gwion was smashed in the penalty area.

“The referee couldn’t wait to give them a penalty from a similar incident later on."

“It’s not even funny any more. It’s happening too often to us. Even last Saturday we should have had a penalty at 0-0 at Rochdale. These decisions are costing us every week."

You were 2-0 up with minutes left

The ref had nothing to do with it.

Let me guess, you went last night?

Because if you did, you would have seen a magnificent performance by us for 85 minutes, and you wouldn't be moaning.

We matched them well and the change after Rochdale was pleasant to see. When Maddison and Edwards play out wide only good things can come from it. Taylor was immense at the back and even Lopes had a good first half. Issue is McCann made a schoolboy error in his substitutions and yet again it's cost us.

Taking that as a no?

Prehaps he saw that Peterborough guy dive the other week? Mudsticks if a team gains a certain reputation.

Plus there is the Karl "refs hate me" Robinson factor - no doubt he was putting pressure on the officials..

I don't know, we've had some shockers against us this season.

Mk Dons equalised against us in added time through a penalty that shouldn't have been given just last week, swings and roundabouts.

RobboPOSH is clearly Lance Stoe using a VPN. A bloke who clearly has some major issues. If people stopped taking him on then he would soon go away.

Yes I did go.

It was Edwards that was fouled, not Maddison.

Wonder what the future holds for Shay McCartan, he’s probably one of our most expensive signings in last 20 years but apparently he was walking around last night in the pisspot cup not giving a shite. He’s not played a first team game in months and he’s been dropped from the NI squad. Shocking transfer again from us and I’ll be surprised if he’s still here by the end of Jan.

I won't be, he's on a 3 year contract and who the hell will buy him?

Players don't just disappear if they're shit I'm afraid.

Was thinking more a loan back to Accy or something like that. I know we won’t sell him as we won’t get any money and surely he’s not been signed on a massive wage...

All I kept seeing on the official Twitter feed from Latics is 'McCartan has a shot, over'. 'McCartan shoots, wide'.

How much did you pay for him?

I can’t remember but Firthy will know. I think it was over 200k, bearing in mind we bought Wyke for 250k.

£250,000 I think it was. Hilarious. Looked ok in the draw away at Walsall but apart from that has been awful everytime I've seen him.

Don't think we spent a dissimilar amount on Kane Hemmings and a) we are a smaller club b) we have already given up on him.

Interesting seeing you lot talk about Wyke though. We were linked at the time you signed him, and I was glad we missed out cuz he sounded a bit shit. Goes to show what you can trust Carlisle fans for. Still, meant we had a bit more money to sign a lot of shit players from different European leagues.

Wyke’s a good player, he probably gets overrated at times because he is the first decent striker we’ve had since Nahki Wells. But he’s got all the attributes of a decent lower league striker and if we played to his strengths instead of just lumping it to him at times he’d have a few more goals than the 8 he’s already got.

Can't wait for Charlton v Pompey. Should be a decent game, decent atmosphere and a good battle around playoffs.

Shrewsbury at home tomorrow, I can't remember the last time I was worried about a Shrewsbury game, probably the play offs in 2007.

This one is completely different. After getting dicked by Chelsea's international superstars... I mean their U23 team, we need a good result and fast. Shrewsbury, Scunthorpe and Rotherham as our next 3 state we'll likely go into Christmas up shit creek

Dale at home, another coupon buster on the cards as they’ve not won away yet. The only thing giving me hope is that I’ve never seen Rochdale put 10 men behind the ball.

Haha fingers crossed!!

Where is good for away fans to drink? Near the ground or London bridge?

Just stay near the ground, few pubs dotted around if you walk

In reality we should be out of site, but credit to Dale on becoming only the 3rd side of the season after Blackburn and Oldham not to sit 10 behind the ball. Very entertaining game, best of the season imo lets just see the win out please.

Officials have cost us 2 goals in a week, goal line technology needs to be rolled out across the whole football league

Is this the month Shrews come unstuck?
Blackburn are coming for you, think the end of this month will tell a massive story and fully expect us and Blackburn to be top two.
