Keeper who hasn't been hobbling for a whole half would have caught that.

Chesterfield only have themselves to blame. Reckless from Rowe and pretty unethical to have Montgomery walking around with that kind of injury.

I hope they do so they're not here next season. This League is hard enough to get out of without having to compete with a relative behemoth.

Tough one to take, but we gave it our all... When the dust settles it's still been a success of a season... Good luck next round Notts

Yeah commiserations to Chesterfield, all jokes aside James Rowe has done superbly well to get you into the playoffs after your position when he was appointed and I’m sure you’ll push on next season. Stupid substitution though, he was winning all the defensive headers

Sorry Chesterfield fans, nothing personal but happy with that result. Never sat right with me you furloughing all those players and using loans to sign another load of players. Plus I enjoy going to your place. See you next season

Well done to County, fair play. One step too far for us this year but we'll be back.

On a quick side note........don't think i've ever seen a more visually offensive fanbase than those in that ground today!

Congrats Notts, good luck down at Torquay.

Not going to bad mouth Tyson and Evans as much as I really want to... just wasn’t meant to be for us today

Looking forward to seeing what we do in the summer in preparation for a big push next year.

After the last year and a bit, felt a bit of a privilege to watch that live tbh. Brilliant game of football, everything you would want from a play-off.

I think the better team won in the end, but I would say that. Chesterfield would fairly point to Tyson’s chances (I was right in 2014!) and how bravely they performed for much of the second half when it was basically attack vs defence.

Need a fucking beer and a lie down.

I think Danny Rowe ( like Rooney) prefers it in the National League anyway. Did he ask to be subbed?

Congrats Notts. See you next week.

Would have preferred to play Chesterfield as we seemed to have a voodoo curse against them this season with 2 undeserved wins, but at least now we can play Boden.

Well played Chesterfield - fancy them to do well next season.

Off to Torquay in the sun next weekend then - shame it won't be a full house with both sets of fans making a racket, but you can't have everything!

Fairly un-magnanimous interview from Rowe, but can understand why he would be gutted.

Excellent from Burchnall, not afraid to change it at HT in a huge game, take a CB off and switch systems. We looked loads better after the break and Boldewijn was a different player - the Chessie LB will be having nightmares about him for a while. Was basically attack v defence, although the injury to the keeper made a big difference. Rowe will take some stick for not having a keeper on the bench and taking his namesake off, but I’m guessing he was struggling in the heat having just had a bug. Had to be Tyson to miss the sitter tho!

I think there's half a dozen sides who should be doing better next season, it's going to be a tough league, I'd get out while you can!

Taking Rowe off worked to be fair, they needed a threat in behind to stop us just coming straight back and Tyson did that. Just he fluffed his lines when it came to it.

Yeah next season is going to be vile to get out of... can see some £££ being thrown about

Expect our retained list to be out by the end of the week, where we will see what type of budget we’re gonna have to play with
