The real league table is about how much money your owners have in their back pocket. Ive been reading the posts, and its amazing, even at non league level, how much is being spent. Surely the club you support should be an expression of the town they are from.

This means fielding local players. If you sign an ex football league star from Merseyside, and he signs for Wisbech on two grand a month, doesnt that make a nonsense of it.? Im probably being idealistic, but it does spoil it for me. Its not about a fair and level playing field. What it becomes is a rich mans hobby. And whoever signs the cheques may not be local. Look at Man City, what a nonsense that is, foreign manager, players, and owner.

Its not about communities anymore. I dont understand how the owners of Man City get any satisfaction from it. I wonder if they even bother looking at the results regularly.

They are that rich. Its not even football anymore, but a friendly five a side, tippy tappy nonsense, predictable and boring. Not like the old days.

Ah Wrexham. Your owner must have holes in his pockets as Wrexham have been non league for some time. You must be getting your players from Runcorn and Clitheroe because you cant afford owt. Wrexham are in the middle of nowhere, no one in their right minds would invest.

Or will do. Has your owner money?, if he does he keeps signing nags with sore feet. The way things are going, you are non league for good. How do you see next season going?

The world is about the biggest bankrole wins, if it was fairer, no hopers like Wrexham would have more of a chance. If you call a club Wrexham or Wisbech in my case, shouldnt it represent the town, like have the players from there, or at least most, especially at non league level. Not going to happen though. I dont understand how Manchester City fans can take pride in Man City winning anything.

It has nothing to do with Manchester. Can anyone explain that one? Oh, hang on, the ground is in Manchester.

Weve been 100% fan owned for years, you dingbat. Our budget is derived from money the club generates itself.

Wrexham is also less than an hour from Liverpool and Manchester. Not exactly in the middle of nowhere. Its also a reasonably large place itself. I dont know where Wisbech is.

We will be going into the season with a number of local players. At the professional end of non league clubs employ professional footballers, not all of whom are going to be locals originally. If that's what you want go and watch Sunday league games.

"You should only have players who are from that town" - and foreign people should go back to where they came from, right?

You know what Wisbech is like, don’t you? it’s full of people like that Kings Lynn chairman.

This reads like you stopped following the game at some point in the 1980s and have only recently got back into it.

There we are, Wrexham ARE what im suggesting, good on you. Your not spending huge sums on players that cant trap a ball, or if they did, have no idea what to do with it when theyve got it. Yet at the top of the Conference, and in Division four, these players are, or were, earning 60 grand a year, as an average.

Yes, 60 grand for 11 dufusses. You cant pretend football at this level is much more than a park league. What sets it apart is that the players are stronger and fitter, and thats it.

I remember some years ago a big hoo ha at Cambridge over signing a midfield player who ran all day, but had zero talent.

To spend money on nobodies does suggest to me that the owners are a bit tapped. Or have more money than sense. At non league level, it is a kick around, but a serious one. Im not short of a few bob, but nine quid to get in at Wisbech, and a burger, chips and coffee for a fiver is all thats going to happen.

Non league fans turn up to watch trash, to then import trash from god knows where is amazing. Having said that, there are no local leagues anymore, the youngsters of today are to busy typing " you ok chuck" or some other nonsense. Even at div 4 level, im not going to call it div2, spending money is silly. For what? Nobody gives a flying wotsit if Cambridge or Morecambe won div 4.

Not even me really. Do i give a hoot if Wrexham won the conference. No. So much football is just routine, really big games hardly exist anymore.

I preferred it when you were pretending to be Dutch.

Its obvious brain cells are a rare commodity, especially at Wrexham and Hartlepool. You still expect your teams to win. Then again, i am trashing your only reason for existence.

Watching those two teams must be like listening to a working class clod from the north east, or north wales. What you both have in common is failure. What continued reason for existence is there? Volunteer to teach knitting, rescue hedgehogs.

Do something useful instead of backing an irrelevance. Your teams are irrelevant, arnt they. Surely you must get more enjoyment watching eastenders, or saturday morning cooking programmes.

When Wrexham kick off i wonder how much laughter there is at the back of your enormous, but empty stands.

Dear Mr. Smith,

As per your detention under the Mental Health Act 1983 in December 2019, and subsequent release under supervision, one of the triggers of your diagnosed obsessive compulsive disorder , aside from excessive crack cocaine usage, was internet football forums. Your therapists explicitly included this evidence in submissions that appeared before judges in your hearing at Warwickshire Crown Court.

We hereby formally warn you that if you are to continue to post such woeful gibberish then you are a continuing danger to the community and to yourself and strong action may be taken.

I am writing to make it as clear as possible that if this behaviour should persist, a working class clod from the North East shall be making a knock at your door to ensure your swift and safe return to the Solihull Asylum for lobotomy and further courses of shock therapy.

We are hopeful that this will not be a course of action we will have to take, however, your ever increasing patterns of deranged behaviour make this step a possibility. Please consider this as a final written warning.

Yours sincerely,
Dr. Psycho Analcyst. PhD, MSc, BSc.

Hartlepool is a doghole, im sure you think soap is a luxury. Is Ryan Donaldson still pretending to care? He was one of the biggest ever time wasters weve ever had. Singing for Hartlepool is a tragedy, surely its like going to the knackers yard.

Singing is not a mistake, playing football is for Mr Donaldson. Does he still wear an Alice Band, that must go down well with your other pink pantied players. You cant have real men playing for you, as you can only attract players like Donaldson.

Has anyone checked his locker, there will be suspenders in there. As for you, can i not dissuade you from watching that wretchedness? Surely folk dancing would be better. Can you explain why you watch this fifth rate nonsense?

A soupcon of homophobia to add to the little England attitudes.

Wisbech sounds like a hell of a place. Festooned in VJ day bunting no doubt.

Thank god i wasnt born up norf or in Wales, your all probably Labour voters or some queer party. We need to send food and civilisation up there, never mind Africa. When you come sarf, and we know about it, we must check to see if we still have our wallets, and that our car is still outside.

Especially those from Hartlepool, the population is like a Demon taking a monkey for a wife.

Anyway, what are Hartlepools chances next year, how many zeros can you post? As for Wrexham a massive mausoleum, empty, cavern like, pointless, dead.

What are your chances? What chance do the dead have in a world where being alive is an advantage. Just kicking off is a massive disadvantage to you both, you dont want that to happen.

Notice Hartlepoolians, Jeff Stelling does not talk your northern gibberish, hes learnt.

Mate, there's really no need for any homophobic insults at all. And I see you're very comfortable with racism as well.

I'm out of here.
