We had 2 goals disallowed, hit the bar, missed a penno, missed 3 sitters and we are a team who have been fairly terrible all season and lacking in confidence. Are you always that bad or is it because of injuries etc? Thought you would go up this year. Surely he must go now?

No, we're always that shit.
Once you scored the first, I just knew we would lose.
Carlos has now completely lost the plot, he doesn't know his best team, hence why he's making numerous changes each match.
We have been awful to watch for a season and a half now, but he got away with it last year as we managed to stay in playoffs.
However his negative tactics cost us promotion last season and this year I believe he has now lost the confidence of not just the fans but also the players.

I Would love to see him turn it round, but it just isn't going to happen, a change is needed sooner rather later or a long season fighting relegation can be expected.
With the players we have it is just unacceptable and some of his recent signings have been (I'll be generous) questionable if not down right panic and have in no way improved the squad let alone the 1st eleven.

I do think with a new manager we could be contenders again next season, but we need to get the right man in asap.

Putting in our worst performance of the season in front of a sold out Madejski.. not really going to help his cause.

Surely he must be close, like Sheffield Wednesday we had similar ambitions of promotion, yet we sit 1 goal difference above them.

My issue though would be that our whole set-up now has been aimed towards the Ajax/Dutch style of football.. A style of football currently failing. Van Gaal sacked by Man Utd, De Boer sacked by Palace, Koeman sacked by Everton, Keizer sacked by Ajax, and various failings by the Dutch national team in recent years. And we're trying to implement this style at a lower level of football which is probably even harder. So sacking Stam would be pointless if we continue along this path..
