Maybe the highest tv ratings for a ladies match in some time!

Williams sisters to clash in the semis?

Fancy Murray to win in 4 and face Nadal in the semis.

Cannot see past Djokovic TBH...

The QF line-up in the women's draw is actually really interesting. World number 1 Serena vs proven giantkiller Cibulkova, up-and-coming American Keys vs experienced, been there, done that American Venus, marketable star Bouchard vs marketable star Sharapova and yet-to-drop-a-set Halep vs yet-to-drop-a-set Makarova.

Reckon the SF will be:

Serena vs Keys
Halep vs Sharapova

Long term gains.
High quality lineup on the men's side as well, top 8 seeds with the exception of Kyrgios for Federer.

Whoever comes through will have deserved it

Bouchard is indeed unbelievable. :hail:

She is such a driven individual though, you only have to hear her press conferences to see that. Lastly, she's also a top class tennis player.

Another Bouchard fan here (in both departments!). Her QF with Sharapova has to go down as the best looking tennis match in history?!
Dunno about that, I found a picture of Gabriela Sabatini and Anna Kournikova together - now that would be drool-worthy to watch! :D

Glad to see Venus winning, but feel a bit for her now as she just can't move and its sad to see.

Wish I'd put a bit of money on Berdych. Had a feeling he might advance hence my touting of him earlier in the thread rather than just plain saying Nadal will be in the semis.

Right, now c'mon Murray!

Rafa clearly not fit or anywhere near it. He just doesn't lose sets 6-0 to Tomas fecking Berdych.

Murray surely thinking about the final now.

Good start for Murray. He looks on it this morning, as he has for most of the tournament.

Two sets up now. Much closer that set but the telling stat is that Kyrgios is yet to have an opportunity to break. Two fantastic lobs in that breaker from Andy.

Got it on SkyGo now! Absolutely brilliant, those 2 lobs in the TB were spectacular!

And Kyrgios breaks back!

Touched on it yesterday but I must say that, after years of statesmanly Federer/Nadal/Djokovic, the unabashed immaturity of Kyrgios is a welcome kick up tennis' bum.

Murray breaks again. Couple of amazing points in that game. Serving for the match now.

Murray just too good for Kyrgios today. Got to fancy his chances of reaching the final now.

Superb from Murray. Haven't yet seen the match due to the silly times they have these matches on at, but on the highlights, he looked in complete control. Kyrgios is a welcome addition to the mens game though; he has that youthful exuberance and relies completely on his talent instead of tactics and skill to get him past people. Once he learns that, he'll be a heck of a player.

So Murray v Berdych(/Vallverdu) in the semi's then. I never like Andy playing Mr Grumpy, as he always seems to make life difficult for him and of course the Czech does have a winning record against him. This could go either way really, I don't think there is a clear favourite, and it could just go down to who is better on the day.

Will having Murray's former right hand man help Berdych in a way or has Murray changed his game a bit since the changes in coaches?
