4-2-4 is what the plan seems to be for the season
I'll be interested to see how that goes: not many teams in England have really tried it. In regards to Cesc: If that's the way your going to play, I agree with Ali, he just doesn't fit in.

Didn't look too good in preseason. Seemed much better whenever they switched to 3 in midfield

Been linked with a loan move for Kenedy from Chelsea.

Be a good signing - thought Conte would want to keep him.
I thought the same, he was one of the only players who made me get excited to see on the starting lineup. He runs for fun, he has a deadly shot, and he can dribble past a couple of players like its nothing. Gonna do wonders for Watford.

Fabergas should really play CAM with Oscar/Willian and Hazard beside him. Would help Chelsea a whole lot.
Actually, he played there quite often and he was nothing special. Cesc is a bit overrated. He has creative passes, but so do Oscar, Willian, and Hazard. He loses the ball alot and slows the play alot. I like him but I don't think he is good enough.

4-2-4 is what the plan seems to be for the season
Last game was 4-3-3 with only one holding midfielder. I thought it was great but then Conte said he is going to try something new in his latest interview. Its very exciting, really got sick of the 4-2-3-1.

Marc Wilson is expected to sign for Bournemouth from Stoke next week. It'll be the third time Marc has signed for us, after two stints here as a youngster.

A defender!

Word around here is that Guardiola is very interested in Rui Patrício.
Sporting's new board won't sell so easily as in the past, since they are trying to be league champions after a while.

It sounds like Jose Fonte is heading for the exit door. Either Man Utd or Everton.

Fuck this board.

Looks like Joe Hart definitely needs to be finding a new club then.

Why? What happened that a Leicester City Fan wants to get rid of Mahrez? Don't you believe in him anymore? ;)

No, he's had his head turned, I'll never forget any of the players that have contributed over the last few seasons, but he doesn't want to play for us and that shows in his displays so far. He has turned into a one trick pony, always looking to come inside, even worse now he slows our play up. In th CS he failed to test Shaw and even failed to test Rojo, he's always been brilliant and frustrating at the same time but at the moment it's all frustrating.
He hasn't come out and said he wants to stay and this season we are going to need committed players. If they are not going to sell him then the boss should bench him and play either Gray or Musa on the right, both have shown far more willingness to attack the FB with pace.

Joe Hart to replace Mignolet according to skysports.

Dear God, let Karius' broken hand heal very very quick.

I understand what you mean. Saw him last saturday against Hull and wasn't impressed by his performance and he looked a bit "bored" as if it is not his wish to play there anymore. First I thought it was only my imagination but when I read now your post it seems to be true

Interesting rumors about Sturridge and Ings
ri6s8R.jpg

Du56Dho.jpg

Seems like he mentioned being friends with Leon Sturridge about 2 years ago too. Unless it is some long con, this seems legit. Ings wasn't even on bench yesterday but played full mins for u-21. While Can was not fit but still made bench ( and came on).

Might be thinking too much but interesting.

His brother is whining about "Klopp and his antics, again" ?. Pathetic. I don't think you are helping your brother with this unless you want that Klopp gets angry about it and ....

Confirmed. Content with that. 2m for someone who's played 150 PL games, plays both the defensive positions we're light in, and at 28 still has a few years to give. It's the sort of deal we need, even if he's unlikely to be giving Aguero and Sanchez nightmares.

Strong reports that Pereyra is finally going to sign!

Hopefully worth all the hassle and wait!

Moshiri has said that we will still be in the market for players after signing Bolasie. Koeman has said he wants another centre back, and Saturday showed that another striker is essential. Not sure if Lamine Kone will happen now. We've also been linked with Joe Hart on loan

Man Utd apparently offering £30mill for Gabby Barbosa. Ranieri has said we were not in for him and his agent is making shit up to get interest in the striker. Might have worked!

Drinkwater isn't signing the 80k offer from us as apparently Spurs are interested in him.

WBA are offering £12mill for Schlupp, I would imagine he'll go as he slides down the pecking order with us.

We're pondering a 12mill offer for Paredes from Roma and we're also looking at Diego Laxalt from Genoa, a winger. Not sure how many pacey players we need! Schlupp replacement maybe?

Klopp looks like a smart person, I don't think he'd really consider to replace Mignolet with Hart.

He's a very versatile player. In Juve he was an advanced playmaker, but Mazzari never gives up to his beloved 3-5-2 so I think he will use him as a wide midfielder, role that he had in Udinese with excellent results.

Christian Benteke: Liverpool reject Crystal Palace bid of £30m [BBC]
The bid of £23m up front plus £7m in add-ons follows a previous offer of £25m, which was turned down.

Good decision imo. They just received over 25 million for Bolasie!

Don't you think you'd be better off letting him go though so you can get someone else in with the money? They may have gotten a lot of money from a sale but that doesn't mean they'll neccesarily go overboard with signing a striker. Bony would cost about half that.

There's only 2.5 mill difference from what we want, Palace are being as tight as Wenger here.

We now have two Cook's, two Smith's and two Wilson's.

Leicester had better watch out that Andy King isn't next on our list...

I woke up to seeing James Rodriguez to Chelsea, alot. Saying it would be about 90 million. I wouldn't get too excited as the same thing happened with Pogba to Chelsea a while ago and nothing happened.

Also a rumor that Cesc Fabregas was offered to Real Madrid.

Maybe offer Cesc plus $$$ for Rodriguez? I doubt it, this isn't Fifa Career Mode.

No you don't have to sell, but you want to sell. Palace are crying out for a striker but there's more than Just Bentekkers around. How many other suitors are there for the big Belgian though that'll pay close to what you did?
