Completely not arsed about Afobe. This seems a bit knee jerk, can't see him fitting this side or style, idiots on twitter saying Bonatini should be dropped because he hasn't scored in 11 games obviously don't have a even a modicum of understanding of how we play, everything through him is one and two touch to bring the others into play, his goal drought is concerning, but not alarming enough to warrant replacing him with a player that has a completely different style. I can not imagine Nuno having Afobe as a high priority target. Although will obviously be pleased to be wrong on that.

Hugill gone for 10m ish. With 20% to Port Vale.

Brilliant deal for the club and player.

Playing part time football 4/5 years ago and now a premier league player. He's set himself up for life now, good luck to him.

It's not about Bonatini not scoring, he hasn't looked the part for the last two months. His link up play which brought us so many goals previously has also gone, hence scoring 12 goals in 12 games since his bad spell. He was a little better against Ipswich though.

The Afobe deal is a no brainer. A £1m loan fee and we pay his wages for a player who is garunteed to score us goals down here. There is also no obligation to buy him, only an option in our favour. The only realistic way I could see us collapsing is that we don't score enough in recent months (ironic since we're the leagues top scorers). With Afobe goals that won't be a problem.

Pleased for Hugill, the guy is set up for life now.

Hopefully Moult can step up to the plate now but we've shown we can compete perfectly well without Hugill on the pitch, it is nice to have the big man option though, maybe Connor Simpson will be thrown in the deep end at some point.

Trimmed the squad massively. Vermijl, Boyle, O'Connor, Pringle and Doyle all going out on loan to League One, Meulensteen released and Mavididi's loan cancelled.

Happy with the additions of Bodin & Moult and Simpson seems a prospect.

Safe to say the West Ham fans are fuming about it

Not surprised

Anyone would be daft to write him off, 2 seasons ago some North End fans wanted to loan him out to League One and a year ago people were happy to sell for £2m. I still don't think he's the finished article.

Will always divide opinion but he's a bastard to play against at any level.

Our DOF confirmed today that the last bid for Mepham would have been the second biggest we would have ever got for a player behind Scott Hogan, means it was more than the £9.5m we got from Burnley (after all the add ons) for Andre Gray.

They clearly must think very very highly of him, hopefully he kicks on for the rest of the season and we get an even better fee in the summer.

Just got to hope both club and player aren't ruing it if he gets a bad injury.

Lasse Vibe having a medical in China, moving to Yanbian, £3m.

Really good price for a striker who's out of contract in 5 months, though do wish we could have had him loaned back for a bit, will certainly miss him in the run up to the play offs.

Regardless, another great deal and big profit on a player, our DoFs really do fantastic jobs...

Signed Ben Stevenson from Cov, but he's for the under 23 squad.
He looked a really good player this time last year, but he has gone back in form and though he has all the flicks going he is far too lightweight for any physical type football.
being in league two the football is brutal at times so going to a place where you can put your foot on the ball and have time to play a bit it will help him.
This time last season we sold James Maddison to Norwich and now another good youngster, our wonderful owners really do have a long term plan, of selling anyone who can pass a ball.
See you this time next year when we sell another good youngster to fund SISU's continued mismanagement of the club.

Cheers pal. Been to a few Coventry games this and last season (most friends support them) but sadly Stevenson seems to have been on the bench for most of the time. Some people tell me he is the best thing since Maddison (great if true) and the rest tell me basically what you have, good last season but has declined since. James Maddison is a great player (reminds me of Deli Alli) so if Stevenson is anything close to him then i'll be happy, but worst case scenario he didn't cost us too much if he doesn't make it here.

One day I hope you get rid of the parasite that is SISU. it's a shame that the Ricoh is half empty every week thanks to the shite owners you have. Least you're having a great season and a trip to Brighton in the FA Cup to look forward to.

Pleased with the loan signing of Grabban. Now hogan is finding form, and with kodjia out, it's a great addition.

Absolutely thrilled with our business this window. Guarantees us a place outside the top 6.
I would love it if you fell out the play offs

And I would, I'm booked to go on holidays the weekend of the finals and would hate to miss out on our glorious victory and murder of whichever team we faced.

I'm all for the return of Afobe. He's fast, he's strong, he thinks and his different style up front is an advantage. Choice of Cav, Costa, Jota, Afobe, Bonatini up front. Perm any thee from five. But I reckon only Cav and Jota will cut it in the PL.
