I think we can do better than Vibe, not that he is a bad player. He's just hit 30, will he be able to score much in the prem? I put him in the Lewis Grabban territory, would probably add a few goals to get hs up, then he'd probably not play again.

Without meaning to sound arrogant, I think we should be looking at players for next season in mind.

Also Connor Ronan and Sylvain Deslandes are going to Portsmouth on loan.

Yeah I'd agree with this. Vibe is good, but he is very inconsistent (goes through long runs of scoring loads, then scoring none) and his first touch lets us down a lot.

But the way we play also isolates the striker a lot, it's difficult for them to play well every game, and he could do really well in a team that fashions a lot of chances.

I don't think Vibe would do very well in the PL, but would be a very good buy for someone fighting for 2nd who wants an experienced Championship goalscorer to help get them over the top for a relatively/very low fee. To that end the link with Bristol City does make sense.

He's a very good young player, and will do well in the PL one day, probably quite soon. I'd love to keep him but everyone has their price at our club. Unlike most of our other sales of late, he's got a number of years on his contract, so I'd guess we'd be looking for £10-12m.

Haven't seen anything specifically linking him with you guys, or saying that he's definitely leaving. As far as we know atm, we're trying to work out a new contract, but are realistic that he'll probably go, we'd just need to get a good enough fee.

I wouldn't begrudge him going anywhere tbh, he's done a good job. Championship is his level IMO but would stand a good chance of going up this season at yours - would just want a good fee of at least £3m so we can reinvest.

Canos and Watkins will easily be PL players in the next couple of years, hopefully with us! Both still make a lot of stupid decisions, part of being young I guess, but the raw talent is insane, especially with Canos. Would say similar things about Woods & Henry.
