Forest have brought in a couple from Benfica, one of them on loan. And some young lad from City on loan.

Both from Benfica and Muric from City. All to be announced early this week. Semedo was going to Burnley on loan. Benfica will only loan him.
Better

Think Mitrovic could still leave Fulham before the deadline.

Also that squad is bloated.

Sounds like Tom Barkhuizen has signed a contract extension, very happy with that, stupidly under-rated by some sections of our support.

Jack Stacey to Bournemouth now official.

Tough to lose two fantastic players but I'm excited to see both Justin and Stacey in the Premier League, delighted that they've both gone to clubs where they have a genuine chance to get game time. They both deserve it so much.

I thought with promotion we might be able to keep hold of them as we could legitimately turn down any approaches from Championship clubs but once the Premier League starts calling you can't block them from that opportunity.

The new Jones may well have wanted to change the playing formation/style anyway but he's certainly going to have to now because Luton's whole gameplan last season was built around having these two amazing fullbacks (Premier League quality in League 1) who could maraud forwards for 90 minutes while never leaving us vulnerable at the back.

How can you say they are 'Premier League quality' when playing in L1? No disrespect but they haven't even been proven at Championship level. Plenty of players look like world beaters in L1 and L2 and they can't make the step up.

Ok, fine, I only meant PL quality in that two Premier League teams have watched them and deemed them worth bringing in. Clearly they have plenty left to prove.

Doesn't change my point though, how ever you want to frame it, that Luton's success last season was built on having these two players who were too good for the league they were in and now with both gone they will likely need to change the way they play.

Supposedly signing Mathias Jensen, a Danish midfielder from Celta Vigo. Probably suggests Sawyers is leaving.

Mitrovic is certainly an interesting deal, will be interesting to see if it affects their FFP.

Cardiff are looking to offload Connolly, Damour, Smithies and a number of players who did not play for the club last season in the PL. Neil's been told he must sell before he can buy, but Vincent is prepared to put up money to get targets.

Makes sense and I think a few clubs will be interested in them. Smithies might stay if Brian Murphy (not the actor...) leaves or takes up a GK Coach role within the club or elsewhere.

Heard that Luton Town might be in for Connolly.

Hallelujah we’ve done a bloody signing! David Marshall’s in on a free. Happy with that, should be a solid stopgap for a couple of years whilst Owen Evans builds up his reputation on loan.

Wonder where Walton will end now, my guess is Brighton either wanted too much or would only let him out on loan, so we moved on.

Jansson passed medical today, should be confirmed tonight or tomorrow morning. Big signing from us, huge signal of intent IMO.

It's fucking odd though, why hasn't another club stepped in?
Apparently he approached us, after he was told he was leaving Leeds, he specifically wanted to join us.

Sounds barmy but why else would it be happening?

Because he’s a c*** that’s fallen out with every single manager that’s been at Leeds mate.

Had plenty of interest before. They were rejecting bids of £10m and £12m in January.

Good player, complete knobhead though hence why he’s being sold for that and why you’re signing him.
