Not being based in the UK, I haven't seen the weather. But it feels like it's been a particularly wet winter. Feels like most games that have been PPd have been for waterlogged, not frozen.

It’s been raining non stop in manchester since i moved here in 2002

Home to Harrogate who are bottom of the form table.
Got 2-1 them all over it.
Any win will do, Hopefully parky leaves the side as it is but he likes to tinker

Wrexham and crewe’s home games are home bankers for sure, MK and mansfield certainly have tricky fixtures.

4:00 pitch inspection here.
Didn't you have a game called off recently for a waterlogged pitch?

With the amount of rain we have had in the last couple of weeks it isn't surprising to see games called of due to unplayable pitches.

Add our pitch to the shocking list. More beach than football pitch Saturday. Doesn’t help our flowing sexy football for sure. Explains why we haven’t won since October at home. We’d probably be top 6 with our old 3G in place.

Conceded four goals in our last two games which is very unlike the best defence in the league, Clough will want it tightening up tonight.
Our conversion rate isn’t very good so maybe a goal every fourth decent chance. Luke Norris hasn’t scored since his return from a foot operation so hoping he can remedy that soon. Would be disappointed if we don’t score, but probably need at least two to get something out of the game.

On pitches, we had significant work done on Prenton Park when the games were off during covid and we’ve benefitted since. Although apparently the weather on Wirral hasn’t been as bad as some places today.

from the 36 played already we’ve scored in all but 4, all of which are at home. Away we average exactly 2 goals on average (36 in 18) and conceded exactly 1 goal a game (18 in 18) so you’re not far off.

Weve been a bit dodgy of late though, last 9 have either been wins or losses (6 and 3)

We can’t truly put an automatic push together with awful away form. Hopefully the Mansfield win last week has put that to bed because I really shouldn’t be less optimistic about Grimsby away than I am Crewe at home
Our away form is the primary reason our away support is so crap. We are great at home and the supp…

DKD on the bench Tranmere will be thankful to hear, Clarke not in the squad which is a big miss.

Entertainers FC are back, playing 3 players I'd guess are best as full backs in a back 3. Though to be honest, looking at the bench I'm not sure there's too many other options.

Tom Davies missing from central defence for Rovers, reckon Yarney may find the more subtle Mansfield attack a harder test.
What looks like an unbalanced bench too.
Decent away turnout making a lot of noise.

No Danny Rose for us tonight that’s a huge loss.
Not feeling too confident any more unfortunately.

Awful defending from a corner, this team just finds a way to wind us up even when we’re on a decent run.

First time Tranmere get the ball in our half they go and score from the edge of the box!

Something about the way this ref has started suggests to me that we're not ending this match with 11 men on the pitch.

Bugger all in terms of actual football yet though.

AFCW go 1 up, nothing wrong with the goal as Bugiel was just too strong for Masterson - but Hawkins doesn't get away with exactly the same at the other end all too often. Bit of consistency would be good.

Nothing in the game though, never is with these AFC games, just need to win more physical battles than they do.

7th match between two clubs: - 3 wins Bradford, 1 win FGR, 2 draws.
The villagers only win was back in 2019.

I didn't think it'd only take half an hour for this to come true. Masterson off for two stupid yellows, no idea what went through his head.
