Kiddy got pipped by Mansfield on high 90's as well. They actually lost their first 6 or 7 as well, they had an incredible run after that.
Yes I remember that. It was only Mansfield going on a crazy run themselves that stopped Kiddy from being champions. Think everyone was rooting for Kiddy that season as was an amazing run.

We've managed to name a full bench!

Rushworth, Roughan, Jackson and House all passed fit from illness/injury. Virtue replaces Bishop, which is a little surprising given he only had 20 minutes or so in midweek on his return. Poole heads over to right back with Jackson back in at CB and Mandroiu in for Shodipo who drops to the bench.

No Killian Phillips or Christian Saydee for us this afternoon. We’re back to being buggered with numerous injuries and unable to field a full bench with half the bench being made up of youth players at that.

No longer confident, can’t see past a Morecambe win here. I’d be amazed if we manage to score a goal today let alone pick up a point or three.

Morecambe are 4/1 for those of you who like a bet.

Going for it today..........No midfield must be a new way of playing
Could end up 5-5 or 7-4 .....Interesting afternoon

Yeah I’m not confident today at all after the last few games.

Keepers at fault for both goals. Probably fair at the moment, but we really are missing Mcdonald in midfield.

Burton deservedly ahead at HT, one poor defensive cock-up from us to concede the first then a decent long range shot for the second which no-one blocked.

Burton rightly sticking men behind the ball and hitting us on the counter...but they get a red card just before HT. TBH it was a bad challenge for sure but I would have said it was a yellow...but we'll take it.

A microcosm of our season that first half. All the possession, all the play, 7 shots to their 0, yet not a single one on target. I'm not sure what our % of converted chances is but it's got to be near the bottom.

We're way better than these based on that 1st half except for the key stat.

Watch them score with their only shot on target, probably from outside the box and probably via a deflection.

Warning signs were there early as we let Sinclair through but papered over by a belter from Savage after a good hold-up by Garrick. Gas seemed to be sitting off to start but were getting joy when they did get up our end and had no problem dispatching the two golden opportunities we initially presented with some woeful defending.
Some chance we might score again as gas aren't super solid at the back but not likely to be more than they will.

Morecambe along with Cambridge, are the worst team I’ve seen this season. We really should be 4 or 5 to the good here. We’d be well out of sight with a fully fit team today. Morecambe are atrocious!

Even first half that with the final ball letting both sides down. Decent game of football though and would certainly still be happy with a point.

Both goals have come as a result of us giving the ball away needlessly. And we’ve missed a penalty and a one on one from Bradley where Walton made a great save. He also made an incredible save just before the penalty was given.

I thought Ipswich were better first half but up to their second goal I thought we’d had the better of the second half. They’ve converted their big moments and our season seems to be fading away.

Never mind any other game today what a scoreline for Cheltenham at Peterborough. Think they have just entered the mid-table trophy conversation.

Sounds like 2 points dropped, another dominant away performance but didn’t punish the opposition.

Would have taken it before though and it inches us closer to safety.

Beat Burton it becomes a good point.

Get in! Not a classic and a card happy ref, but Super Sam made a big difference there. Lincoln very poor second half

One more point than we had at the start of the day so you’d take it. We are so soft defensively though, far too easy to score against.

well played Burton, very solid defensively and scrapped well for everything, especially being a man down for the second half.

Not a good day for us, very poor to miss a pen that badly.

It only got worse, in a season of poor showings that was up there, and all in front of our best ever league crowd. Even contrived to miss a penalty that our players argued over taking.

Fucking hell man. We totally capitulated second half and looked a different side from the first half. When we lose we certainly do it impressively. Only the 6 hour trip home to reflect

Comfortable 3-1 win against Morecambe. Although Morecambe improved second half, I can’t see them staying up. Haven’t seen a team struggle to defend corners quite like it. Worryingly Bayliss went off injured so that could be another out next weekend.

Onto a big game at Portman Road next Saturday!

I like Pompey generally but are they soft, niggly, whining bastards every week like they were today?

Not a bad day again for us. Another one chalked off. A well machined oil as Martin Keown said.

If that's a 2nd yellow for Iorfa then may as well stop the world.

Brown and Raggett got the same card for what would be called assault normally.

We didn't need to even play well today, was a pretty comfortable win in the end. Trying not to get too carried away but it's difficult not to when we've now had 5 wins on the bounce and 6 clean sheets in a row.

It’s unbelievable that we finished above the Gas last season, given the gap in quality today. Oh well at least our next 3 look a bit easier, oh wait it’s Plymouth, Sheff Wed & Derby :ffs:

Sounds like we were in control before Exeter's equaliser and stinking afterwards, which came from a mistake (all three goals mistakes?). First time this season we've scored first and lost.
