Another goal for Jake Young. Hopefully adds to his price tag.
I’m not so sure. He’s going through a purple patch but considering that he’s not done it for Bradford or Barrow are some going to take a punt on him? Sometimes it’s “horses for courses” and I hope that’s the case here

We were miles off if last night. Too many stray passes and a general lethargy throughput the side.
Still thought we just about edged it but it looked for all the world like a 0-0.
Oh well, we all know you don’t always win games you should.

Possibly the most Swindon thing to ever Swindon.

What on earth was the keeper doing there at the end? I almost feel cheated that Accy didn't score.

Well that’s a bit shit from us tonight, bloody dreadful, and had to come from behind twice against tranmere.
Clough post match had a little dig several times at the fans getting on the players backs.

Worst performance of the season comfortably by Mansfield, Tranmere set up correctly and were well drilled with a bit of danger on the counter, well worth the point.

When Reed and DKD are not on it we cannot play well, that’s the front and back of the diamond and both were absolutely atrocious last night, a rarity thankfully.

A lot of em looked shattered so I think a weekend off will do us good.

They’ve got to be patient, yes it was a game on paper we should’ve won (i’ve been talking about how we struggle against lower teams at home) and tranmere played well and broke superbly.

However, had we played how we have been we would probably still have nicked it. but as conker says it was our worst performance of the season and we still didn’t lose

Results wise neither wrexham or stockport won last night which are the 2 im most bothered about so not all lost.

Perfect time to have a week off and regroup.

Over two decades since we last got a league goal at Mansfield and we lost that one 6-1.

Thought it was a decent game and a fair result. Took the lead from a good break by Saunders setting up Jolley and Saunders had the chance to double the score but shot at the keeper when clean through. The hosts were helped by Kieron Morris giving up allowing a ball to be slid into the box for the Mansfield leveller. Thereafter, it was mostly Mansfield, with Rob Apter's quality finish against the run of play putting Rovers ahead again, before a deflection-aided equaliser. Thereafter, despite the occasional foray forward, Mansfield looked the more likely to score again, but we managed to hold on despite Turnbull stupidly getting sent off in added time.

Mansfield played some attractive football, if they could be more clinical in front of goal think would be nailed on for promotion.

Agree with all of that, your second goal all came about from DKD handing it on a plate via a dodgey pass, nice finish I thought it was creeping wide.

#6 who got sent off was lucky to make it to half-time never mind so late on, he was doing it the entire game.

A very surprising set of results last night involving the the teams at or near the top. Pleasing for anyone who picked up the expected 3 points.

We needed a Crawley (shootout/ toe to toe) type opponent at home to get us back in our feet after the display at Wimbledon at the weekend.

Having Baldwin back helped as usual, was noticeably missed in the 4-2 defeat. Jodi Jones was going Jodi Jones things and was best player on the pitch.

I think you’re right in that it wouldn’t surprise me to see him revert to type should he come back here. But people in football are stupid, they’ll always be some daft club willing to take a punt. Reading paid over a million for Marc McNulty in very similar circumstances and then he went back to being crap as expected. It would be nice to see some league 1 or championship club come waving their credit card at us in January. It helps that he still has 2 years on his contract in the summer, so for once we’re in a decent position when it looked like that long contract would be a milestone round our necks.

Eisa’s miss for MK right at the end, would’ve been a travesty had we lost but obviously should be scoring.

Would have been ridiculously harsh on us that, but still a right let off.

Also, didn't realise at the time but looks like Gnahoua hit both posts with his chance when we're 1-0 up. Hunt absolutely mugging off Williams before picking the pass for that gets better with eveey watch too.

Max watters also. 1 million to Cardiff off the back of a tremendous goal scoring 'feat' at Crawley. If it pays off, it's possibly worth a 10-15 million profit. But more often than not it tends not to.

The miss is bad but nowhere near as bad as having to watch football in that stadium every week
Enjoyed this one on their forum...
If Grimsby spent more time singing for their side than singing about how shit our attendance and atmosphere is, too, they might very well have spurred them onto a win.

We're a mess at the minute, if we sack Horseman, sack our DoF and appoint someone who knows their arse from their elbow at this level then maybe we can get out of it. Oh and fuck Deeney off too, unfit and spends more time having a go at his teammates/fans then doing anything useful on the pitch. Seems to have more authority then our manager.

Don't make a change soon and pretty sure we'll drop back down, we make the same mistakes every week under this shower and to top it off most of our players keep getting injured in training.
Last night was dreadful, I was angry on the drive home...for a variety of reasons, not just the football, but stuff off the pitch too...I think it is now sinking in to those who still turn up that the club really is in a mess, it starts with having someone at the top who doesn't care if there are fans there or not (he has stated that publicly, I'm not making it up), people are disengaging in their droves, to have less than 1200 home fans for a league game is beyond disappointing.

I wouldn't say that I'm resigned to a return to the National League, despite many saying that it is inevitable, but it will take a major shake up to avoid that happening. You could see last night that Bradford were more up for the game than us, but if I'm honest I don't think they were really that good, more that we were the right opposition for a team trying to impress a new manager and learn what he wants them to do...it was lucky that there was no wind last night or we might have run out of balls in the first half with the height and distance their defence and keeper were kicking it.

Next up in the league are Wrexham...a game that already appears to be a sell out...not many of those who have filled the stadium up will be home fans...it could get pretty depressing if they give us a hammering!

Beat Walsall 2-0, but could and should have been more.
Whitfield scored after 11 mins, but that should have made it 3-0 not 1-0.
Canavan scored the 2nd on 70 mins after Ray set him up.
Walsall were pretty toothless to be honest and they'll probably be looking for a new manager soon...
He wont last much longer now mate fans have turned.

Just saw the video of Notts v Crawley. I have no idea what our keeper was up to for the first Notts goal.

To be honest, for the 3rd goal, I don't know why he gave a short goal kick when there was no one else near the pair of them except Notts players.

Didn't expect to win but I do expect a bit of professionalism.

Looking at the fixtures a treble on Mansfield, Notts and MK looks nailed on right?

There good sides all with talented managers , all at home.

Odds won't be great but that's my midweek bet.
So, did you take my advice or did you squander your pennies on this treble of bankers?

Both. I did bet on Barrow to win thanks to your suggestion, at suitably poor odds and I squandered my pennies on the treble of bankers. As mentioned I don't blame MK, the bet was placed before new Grimbo manager announced. I blame Mansfailed for failing to beat Tranmere.

The banker all season has been BTTS Wrexham, Mansfield and Notts. I've done that treble every week.

More possession, more shots on target and more goals.
Listening to you, you would think you battered us.
Get over it!!

All you've spouted is that we were lucky to win and seem to think you dominated a frankly dreadful game of football from both sides. The stats show that it was in fact a very tight game in terms of chances at both ends, where we managed to score from our limited efforts and you didn't. I don't care about possession stats but we weren't dominated in that department either so I can only conclude that you're either an idiot or simply, as I put shortly after the game, having a strop.

What's the context here? Were they having issues with each other during the game or something?

All facts so in what way deluded Gary?
It was a game where both sides cancelled each other out and the end result was a pretty piss poor game of football.
What happened to you lot?
I’ve shared a beer with Wimbledon fans before and after the game previously and found them to be a decent bunch.
Now we are getting “we should beat that lot” comments before the game and schoolboy strops when you get beat.
Oh, and the blog that Joe posted was just fucking embarrassing.
Shame really.

Have a listen to our manager's view of the game. I dare say you will think he's talking crap as well.
