Like so many of our matches of late, I thought it was bad enough being there last night, watching the recording this morning was even worse, we were beyond piss poor, which endorses an rapidly increasing view that despite all achievements CK and his 70's tactics have served his time.

Our midfield was non existent, our defending way above sloppy, our distribution not fit for purpose and apart from two chances created from dead balls, for the second game on the trot we didn't create a chance.. Cowley in his post match interview admitted all they had to do was to push their full backs on and they knew they would isolate Emmanuel and Miller. Problem is every manager now knows the same, they see through CK's archaic battle plan, yethe still refuses (or can't) change anything, and why, Maidstone apart we have been so poor of late, with just one win in nine or ten.

We don't play three up front at all, just the one, and whilst Lafayette is still doing okay, and I have been saying this for ages Miller has to play through the middle playing him out on the wing and spending the majority of the time is totally embarrassing and probably justifies a charge of gross misconduct to be issued.

I got the feeling last night, and even more so after this morning that Lincoln won this in playing in third gear which either makes them genuine champions in waiting or means our current predicitability simply makes us shit...or both

We scored from the spot on 29 minutes totally against the run of play. Macc equalised 90 seconds later after a typical error from our acting center back - Lawlor.
1-1 at half time. A second penalty for us shortly after the restart puts us 1-2 in the lead
