This thread is going to keep on giving all season long.

Taxis driven by "Mohamed's brother"?
Percentage capacity figures to two decimal points?
Colour 3D diagrams of the ground?

It's like a cross between the Ladybird Book of Milton Keynes, a Maths GCSE paper and an EDL advert.

Yeh...you love it...

Attendance: 15,642 (5,109 Bristol City fans)

Capped capacity: 27,000

= 57.93% full

Most knowledgeable poster pfft.
How many times was that achieved this season?

Apart from the game in the CoC where everyone turned out to see the big boys, and the game against Yeovil where it barely scraped the half full mark, are there any other examples?

Not having a dig, because I actually like Stadium:MK - but I think it'd be far better if the top tier was open/partially open as well.

I was joking as I am sure you know but as you asked...

1. The game against Yeovil saw the ground at 62.83% capacity.
2. The games against Manchester United and Yeovil Town were the only examples from last season but there are quite a few from previous seasons.
3. How would opening the top tier improve things? That would make it so much worse. The atmosphere isn't great most weeks anyway but opening the upper tier would kill it completely.

Was about to post the same thing.

JJH says the stadium is never half full and would be improved by opening the upper tier, meaning even more empty seats.

Obviously, you wouldn't open the upper tier with the current numbers your getting - but the point is that in a few years IF more success comes, the top tier should be open to fans due to demand etc, and it'll make Stadium MK a whole better experience.

Must be said though - Stadium:MK is a vast improvement on grounds such as The Ricoh Arena, St Mary's, The Keepmoat etc etc.

Well obviously if we sell out the lower tier, the upper tier will be opened i.e. v Manchester United. It won't be opened unless it has to be though and I wouldn't want it to be because it would make the atmosphere worse. For example, if we had put the 17,000 v Yeovil across two tiers, the atmosphere would have been wank.

When we came to MK, I was a bit bewildered as to why they put half our fans in the top tier, and half in the bottom?

Would have looked and sounded far better all packed into one admittedly.

MK Dons should move over here to Shenyang. Theres a 50,000 seater stadium built for the olympics that is never used and the population of the urban area is around 7 million. That's a big catchment area, think of the potential crowds and the money! Someone should give Mr Winkleman a call and get it sorted! (plus i'll get an away game on my doorstep!) :D

Might as well move Bristol City there. You can have a nice new stadium rather than revamping Ashton Gate because the nice people on the council don't want you to have a new stadium in Bristol.

And you would have 23 home games on your doorstep.

Sounds good to me! I doubt id be very popular though.

For the record, the council was behind the new stadium but a bunch of nimbys used every dirty cheating trick in the book to block it. I think most of us are just as happy with the redevelopment though. We get to stay at our spiritual home plus get all the benefits of a new build.

Why does everyone dislike Robinson? he always came across as a quiet manager to me who just gets on with it. I guess being in the same league as him you see/hear things about him that isn't reported in the media much though.

He doesn't get on with it at all, he moans about money every week and is a whiny, scouse prick in general.

Fair enough ... would rather listen to that than the Steve Evans "The Football League don't want us here" bollocks mind.

Every decision Rotherham don't get it is because there are secret weekly meetings within the FL where every other club in the division come together for a few drinks and plan the demise of Rotherham United FC...

What's wrong with what he's said? He's not complaining about it. He's informing our fans who are getting mardy that money isn't being spent because we don't have it.

Our budget probably is in the bottom three, most likely the smallest.

Sounds like he's being a fat, moaning c*** to me.

Quit if you're that bothered about your shit budget.

Did I say I was bothered? No. Did Robinson complain about the budget? No.
Was he moaning? No.

I actually listened to his interview on the radio and he was excited and happy, not moaning or complaining about the budget. He was just stating what it was and why we couldn't sign players like Grigg.

I wasn't telling you to quit...

All the bell end talks about is money, in an attempt to exaggerate the job he has done and self-promote himself, most likely.

I bet it's him who links himself to jobs in the press whenever one comes up as well, the twat.

Can you tell I like him?

I'd rather have Robinson, at least he wants to be here unlike your manager with his tongue up Leeds United's back passage.

Ha, Robinson would jump at any half decent job that came his way.

Are you 12yrs old?... 'Don't bad mouth my manager, or i'll bad mouth yours..."

Grayson only wants to go to Leeds because it's one of the few words he can spell.

I think he has done a very good job getting us up, there is a perceived idea we have a lot of money when we don't so I'm not bothered about him constantly talking about it. We have a wage cap for a reason what won't be that high and we clearly weren't one of the richest clubs in league one last season.
