Massive game for both sides. Realistically we need a win to keep our play-off hopes alive. Any Stags fan will agree, our problem is the lack of clinical finishing. We've only scored 19 away from home all season, lowest in the division. Wycombe have a good defensive record at home, only conceding 19. I'm afraid it all points to a home win but I suppose you never know with Mansfield. We occasionally step up with a surprise result.

We haven't won at home since February 4th so fill your boots. Will be a shit Ainsworth starting XI so i'm going to the pub instead of following the football scores much more interesting. Wycombe 0 Mansfield 2 with boos ringing out at full time towards the manager AGAIN! :sna:

Don't worry, if a side is off form or haven't won in 49 years, we're exactly the side to play, we always break these runs.

I've kinda written off the playoffs, but hope we can change that mindset with what would be a very surprising win here. Surprising that Wycombe have gone off the boil the way they have of late.

Injuries (Mainly in training) plus not picking our best players hasn't helped but Ainsworth has his favourites even when they're off form like Paul Hayes who always seems to carry an injury and Gary Thompson who is not up to League 2 football anymore but they will be picked before Kashket and The Beast who have 32 goals between them this season. :ffs: Like you mate i think the play offs are out of reach with Cambridge and Doncaster at home and Morecambe and Barnet away after you i'd say we'll be lucky to get 6 points.

Not going to this one. Mainly because I think our season is as good as over. Even with a win I can't see us getting 3 more against Luton, Pompey, Stevenage and Crawley. That and Wycombe as an away day is absolutely terrible.

I think it will finish a score draw. 1-1.

Meh. My main interest in this one is just that the next defeat will all but confirm that we're on the beach from then on. I think there's still the mid-table championship spot to play for though?

We won't even win that  We finished 13th last season and no doubt if we finish 12th Ainsworth will put some bullshit spin on it about how we're improving. Within gthe first month of the season he claimed "This is the best team we've had while i've been manager" :ffs:

Looks that way,i'm off to my local that doesn't have a telly rather than bother with a meaningless game.

I'm watching the Martian on my sofa, probably going to be a similar level of atmosphere at the game today!

I give a shit about the result. I want us to win every game. Win today and we can still make the play off, lose and we're screwed. Not sure why any of us would want us not to win.

I don't think that was quite the point, of course each person would want their team to win, belief can be built upon even at this stage of the season, I just think it was more meant in, well I'll check the score at half time and if we're winning great...

Hmmm. Didn't expect that, or the results to go our way.

On the basis of today's results I don't give a fuck about the Luton game and we've no chance of the playoffs :bg:

Oi! Less of the old; middle-age is the new prime - the bald head, grey chin and extra inch around the waist is for disguise purposes.

Must admit I think it must be the MTFC syndrome of where I'd given up and then they go and surprise everyone with a game like that.

Well, MTFC syndrome means we'll lose to Luton on Monday, as you know.

Well it'll involve me leaving home at 8am and not getting back until 9pm, but it'll be worth it.

Nice though it would be to hang around for Chesterfield and Lincoln next season it'd be grand to somehow sneak in the playoffs
